Any evolution or form-specific task must be completed while the event banner is active. Even if the evolution remains available later, it will not retroactively count. Niantic does not grandfather progress for these objectives.
Burn the candy now if it completes a task. Candy can be re-earned; expired challenges cannot.
Use Remaining Incense, Lures, and Raid Passes With Intent
This is not the time for casual activation. Every premium item should be solving a specific problem, whether that’s spawning a missing Pokémon, finishing a catch-type requirement, or triggering a final research encounter.
If raids are part of your remaining objectives, focus on completion over IV hunting. A low-IV clear still satisfies research and unlocks rewards that disappear forever once the event ends.
Collect Every Reward Before Logging Off
Completed-but-unclaimed rewards are a silent killer. Encounters, items, and XP tied to event research can be lost if they’re not tapped before the cutoff. This includes the final reward screens of timed research tracks.
Do a final sweep through Today, Field, Special, and Collection tabs. If there’s a claim button, press it.
