What it is
ACNH Save Editor is a free, open-source homebrew editor for Animal Crossing: New Horizons saves on Nintendo Switch. It can change wallet and bank Bells, Nook Miles, house loans, and pocket items in personal.dat and main.dat. Players can search a database of more than 13,000 items using the Switch keyboard. A Favorites menu offers 22 curated items, and pocket tools let users select or clear a slot and save or load up to five loadouts on the SD card. Before writing, the app makes a byte-verified SD-card backup; ZL rolls back to the latest backup. It recalculates save hashes and checksums after edits, and clamps changes to in-game maximums. It works offline on-console, but the maker warns that save modification carries risk. Installation requires Atmosphère custom firmware, and the app must launch through Title Override or a forwarder, not Album/Applet mode. Version 1.4.0 edits only the primary resident, Villager0; map editing and design-pattern preview are unavailable.

Who it suits
It is for Animal Crossing: New Horizons players using a Switch with Atmosphère custom firmware who want to edit save values or pocket items. Version 1.4.0 is limited to the primary resident.
ACNH Save Editor combines inventory and value changes with backup and checksum handling. It requires a modded Switch setup, and save modification still carries risk.
