GDLauncher

What it is

GDLauncher is a free Minecraft launcher for installing and managing separate game instances on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Instances can hold their own mods and resource packs, be organized into groups, duplicated, or shared by code with custom configurations and mod changes. The launcher installs CurseForge and Modrinth modpacks and sets up Java and the mod loader. Supported loaders are Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, and Quilt. GDLauncher can also create and manage Minecraft servers, with a live console, CPU and memory monitoring, player controls, and server mod installation. Documentation lists importing and exporting instances from several other launchers, but marks that feature as work in progress. The service requires a valid, fully paid Minecraft Java Edition account. GDLauncher has no premium tier or overlay. Its privacy statement says account email is shared in hashed form with Overwolf for personalized advertising; users can opt out through the app's Privacy settings. The maker points users to its Discord community, documentation, and troubleshooting guides for support.

Good, and not so good

Who it suits

GDLauncher suits Minecraft Java players who want separate modded instances or a launcher that can also manage servers. It may also suit players sharing instance setups by code, provided they have a valid, fully paid Java Edition account.

GDLauncher brings modded instance management and server controls into one launcher, with support for two modpack sources and four loaders. Review the account requirement and privacy statement before using it.
