What it is

GHosting runs persistent Barotrauma campaigns on managed dedicated servers, keeping the lobby and campaign files available after the player who started the session leaves. It installs Barotrauma's official native Linux dedicated server inside an isolated container, with servers offered in Europe and North America. Workshop mods can be added by pasting Steam Workshop links in the Mods tab; the service downloads items and builds the enabled content-package list. Reapplying mods picks up updates. The panel controls settings including join password, player cap, public listing, play style, voice chat, spectating, karma and traitor probability. A live Console tab sends commands to the dedicated-server console, while Files and owner-only SFTP provide access to campaigns, Workshop content, permissions and logs. DDoS protection is included. The one-time 48-hour Crew trial requires a verified account, does not require a payment card and does not renew automatically, subject to capacity. Paid access plans are billed for 30 days and do not renew automatically. During an active mission, a restart can roll the campaign back to its last in-game save.
