What it is
HumanitZ Mod Manager, also called HZMM, is a free desktop app for installing, configuring, and organizing HumanitZ mods. It handles PAK resource mods and UE4SS Lua or C++ script mods, accepting ZIP, RAR, and PAK files by drag and drop. Its visual editor provides toggles, sliders, color pickers, keybinds, multi-select controls, string lists, and dropdowns. Users can save, switch, and share profiles; importing one can download missing Nexus mods. HZMM deploys and updates UE4SS, detects the Steam installation path, backs up world saves with a mod snapshot, and checks GitHub for app releases. The built-in Nexus browser supports anonymous browsing, searching, and sorting, but installation through it needs a Nexus API key. Nexus limits API downloads to Premium accounts; browser downloads can instead be dragged into the manager. Windows requirements are Windows 10/11 and HumanitZ through Steam. Linux packages are AppImage and .deb, requiring Steam and Proton. The portable Windows executable needs no installation or runtime but is unsigned.

Who it suits
It suits HumanitZ players managing PAK or UE4SS mods, profiles, configurations, and save backups. Windows users need Steam and HumanitZ; Linux users need Steam and Proton.
HZMM centralizes HumanitZ mod installation, profiles, configuration, and backups. Nexus download restrictions and the unsigned Windows build are important considerations before setup.
