What it is

Nitrado offers paid Astroneer server rental for playing and exploring with friends, with pricing available on request. Servers support crossplay among PC, Xbox, PS4, and PS5, while Nintendo Switch is not supported through crossplay. An Astroneer server supports up to eight players at once. The web interface lets you edit configuration and settings, set a password, change world autosave frequency, and upload files or worlds. Daily backups and DDoS protection are advertised, with file-manager access and a proprietary control panel. Nitrado says current Astroneer updates are supported and servers can usually be updated within a few hours by restarting. Listed locations include Frankfurt, London, New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Sydney. Support is available by email and chat in several languages. Short rentals are offered, but no trial or demo servers are currently available.

Who it suits

This suits Astroneer groups playing across supported PC and console platforms who want self-managed settings, world uploads, backups, and short rental terms. It is not suited to Nintendo Switch crossplay or modded Astroneer servers.

Nitrado provides crossplay Astroneer hosting with configurable worlds, backups, and several rental durations. Confirm the eight-player limit, platform coverage, and lack of mod support before renting.
