NoCheatPlus

What it is

NoCheatPlus is a free anti-cheat plugin for administrators running Minecraft Bukkit, Spigot or CraftBukkit servers. It aims to keep server play within vanilla mechanics and block cheating or protocol abuse. Its checks cover movement, combat, block placement and breaking, inventory behavior, chat and command spam, and other malicious activity. Movement checks include flying, speed, fall damage, no-clipping and vehicle movement; combat checks address fake critical hits, out-of-reach attacks, excessive hit rates and invulnerability. Administrators can configure checks and choose enforcement actions such as cancelling actions, logging, running server commands, banning, kicking or denying login. The plugin also provides API support for other plugins, including exemptions and violation-processing hooks. Installation involves placing its JAR in the plugins folder and starting a supported server. ProtocolLib is needed for network checks such as attack-frequency monitoring; an unsupported ProtocolLib version may disable some checks.
