Audience: The maker describes Notch as suited to course lessons, tutorials, DevRel content, product demos, and localized content.
Auto-zoom: Auto-zoom follows cursor activity with smooth transitions and does not require manual keyframing.
Captions: Notch supports multilingual captions, on-device automatic captions, and exports subtitles burned into video or as SRT files.
Data collection: The app sends update-check information and usage counters tied to a random install identifier, but the maker says these do not contain recording content, titles, filenames, or screen contents.
