VGSources / Best Game Save Editors / PUSE
What it is
PUSE is a free, open-source save editor for Pokémon Unbound version 2.1.1.1. In the browser, it loads .sav or .srm files and exports an updated save with recalculated checksums. Party editing covers species, nickname, IVs, EVs, moves, nature, held item, ability, and level; PC Pokémon and bag sections are also editable. Bag categories include main items, balls, berries, the TM case, and key items. Additional controls cover money, shiny and gender settings with PID-aware checks, plus RTC metadata recovery with pair repair and a quick fix. Recommended local mode keeps parsing, editing, checksum work, and export in the browser, while optional backend mode uses local FastAPI endpoints. Nintendo Switch homebrew edits Pokémon and trainer money, capped at 999,999,999. A Nintendo 3DS 3DSX/CIA port is marked experimental. The project advises working on save copies and not posting personal saves in public issue reports. It is an unofficial fan utility under the MIT license.
