Rocksmith+

What it is

Rocksmith+ is Ubisoft’s music-learning service for guitar, bass, and piano on Android, iOS, and Windows. Its expanding library contains official recordings and covers across rock, hip hop, pop, metal, soundtracks, Latin, and classical styles. While you play, the service tracks and analyzes performance and gives instant recommendations. Practice tools include Riff Repeater, Adaptive Difficulty, interactive video lessons, and sheet music. The free plan includes lessons and a selection of 20 songs; subscriptions unlock the full licensed catalog, with paid access from $7.99/mo. Listed subscription options include 1 Month Subscription, 3 Month Subscription, and 12-Month All-Access Plan. Windows use requires a persistent internet connection, a guitar or bass, and separately purchased connection equipment. PC connections can use ASIO or WASAPI devices, with Ubisoft recommending hardware supporting 16-bit, 48 kHz operation. Progress tracking and cloud saves are available, but offline access is not. Song and feature availability varies by country.
