In short
Minepanel: Minepanel makes sense for a Minecraft host who wants Java and Bedrock under one self-managed dashboard and is comfortable operating Docker. It offers broad server software coverage, useful diagnostics, detailed monitoring, role-based access and several notification and storage choices. The main reservation is recovery: backups exist, but restoring one is not a one-click task. Hardware limits also determine how many servers you can run. Choose it when control and a free MIT-licensed tool matter more than managed hosting or hands-off maintenance.
PufferPanel: PufferPanel offers free, self-hosted management for a range of game servers. Docker is the recommended option for stronger file and process separation; the standard environment is described as testing-only.
