A practical fast route usually needs three early advantages: food and beds from a village, a ruined portal for inexpensive Nether access, and a stronghold that is not extremely far from spawn. Best for a village at spawn
-7643703826985145113 reports a village distance of zero. It also has a nearby ruined portal and Trial Chambers, but its first stronghold is the farthest in this table at approximately 1,916 blocks.
Best for the nearest ruined portal
-4868930243850990378 places the reported ruined portal about 36 blocks away. Its desert temple can add early loot, while the village is roughly 256 blocks from spawn.

Best balanced starting points
4292607477015348800 combines short village and portal approaches with a 1,564-block stronghold. 3000277370722343256 has a village at about 48 blocks, and 3264930404929132151 has one at about 45 blocks. Pick the extra structures only when they support the practice route you are learning; a Trial Chamber or Ancient City is not automatically faster than a direct line to the Nether.

How to use a seed in Java Edition
- Launch Minecraft Java Edition and select version 1.21.4.
- Choose Singleplayer, then Create New World.
- Open More World Options (or the seed field in the current world-creation screen), enter the complete seed including its minus sign where shown, and create the world.
- Confirm that the generated spawn, village and portal match the listed terrain before investing time in a route.
- Use an interactive seed map or in-game coordinates to rehearse travel, Nether-entry placement, bastion or fortress searches and stronghold navigation. A map’s coordinate readout is a planning aid, not a guarantee that every route is optimal.
Do not assume that a seed generated on another Java release will preserve these structures. Major world-generation changes can move villages, portals and strongholds.

Bedrock alternative
Java and Bedrock use different world-generation algorithms, so the Java seeds above should not be expected to reproduce on Bedrock. Astroworld’s Bedrock Speedrun Special lists seed 1857352399 for Bedrock 1.21, with an approximately X 60, Z -40 village, a stronghold near X 400, Z 300, a ruined portal near X -100, Z 150 and a lava pool near X 80, Z 100. Generate it on Bedrock 1.21 and check the coordinates in your own world.
Are these seeds legal in a real speedrun?
That depends on the category. A favorable known seed is suitable for practice and for a permitted set-seed category. It is not automatically legal in a random-seed run, where the seed must be obtained under that category’s prescribed randomization rules. MCBE-Speedrunning maintains separate rules for Any%, Any% Glitchless, set-seed, random-seed, platform and structure-related categories. Read the current rules for the leaderboard you plan to submit to before recording.

Limitations to keep in mind
- The ranking describes structure proximity, not measured world-record potential.
- Reported distances are approximate and do not equal walking time, Nether travel time or completion time.
- Spawn position, terrain, lava pools, piglin trades, blaze-rod luck and end-fight execution can outweigh a small structural-distance advantage.
- Trial Chambers, temples and ancient cities are optional detours; entering them can help a specific practice goal but can also cost time.
