Source for all offer prices, specifications, and attributed editorial judgments in this table: PC Gamer’s October 6, 2026 roundup. Its summary and detailed copy differ on some former prices and the ROG Pelta’s battery figure; the table uses the detailed offer price where the roundup identifies one and preserves the Pelta distinction.

How to choose among these deals

Decide whether you need wireless freedom

A wired model avoids the need to manage headset battery charge. The listed wired choices include the BlackShark V2 X, Glorious GHS Eternal, HyperX Cloud II, and open-back ROG Kithara. Among wireless options, the Corsair Void V2 is specifically listed with both Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz dongle, but no wired mode. Check the connection method against the devices you actually use; the roundup does not establish compatibility with every platform or configuration.

Choose open-back or closed-back based on your surroundings

The Kithara is the only open-back model in this selection, while the other listed headsets are described as closed-back. Open-back construction is a different listening experience from a closed-back headset; consider whether you want sound to remain more contained around you or prefer an open design, particularly if you play near other people. The roundup does not provide comparative measurements of sound leakage or isolation.

Treat battery-life claims as a convenience factor, not a direct ranking

PC Gamer lists the Cloud Alpha Wireless at 300 hours, the longest stated figure in this group. The Pelta’s detailed copy gives up to 90 hours under best conditions, while its summary says 70; other listed wireless figures range from 40 to 70 hours. These source-reported numbers do not establish how long each headset will last with your volume, connection, or other settings.

  • For noise cancellation: The BlackShark V3 Pro includes ANC, but the roundup’s reviewer was not especially impressed by its effectiveness.

What the October offer list does—and does not—tell you

PC Gamer’s list is a dated snapshot of 12 offers, not evidence that every price remains available or that each headset is at its lowest price. Confirm the final checkout price, stock, shipping, and any eligibility terms on the retailer’s listing before ordering. The detailed listing is also the safer reference when figures conflict with the roundup’s summary.

Do not confuse this October coverage with Amazon’s official Prime Day 2026 event dates. Amazon says that event ran June 23–26 and warns that deal availability can change; its roundup is about that earlier event, not the October offers listed above. Amazon’s official Prime Day 2026 roundup also mentions a Logitech PRO X 2 Gaming Headset deal, which is not among PC Gamer’s 12 selections.
