The 2025 Razer Blade 16 measures 0.59 inches (14.9 mm) at its thinnest point and pairs an AMD Ryzen AI 9 processor with an OLED display rated at 240 Hz. Razer announced configurations up to an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, but the graphics chip varies by SKU and market. That distinction matters: Razer’s current Blade 16 lineup also includes a separate 2026 Intel model with different specifications.
How thin is the 2025 Razer Blade 16?
Razer lists the 2025 Blade 16 at 0.59 inches (14.9 mm) at its thinnest point. The company describes its chassis as a CNC-machined aluminum unibody. Its launch announcement also details a vapor-chamber cooling system with dual fans: the chamber covers 57% of the motherboard, and the exhaust uses 0.05 mm fins. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Razer’s product page
Which processor and graphics options does it have?
Ryzen AI 9
The 2025 Blade 16 brought AMD Ryzen AI 9 processors to the range. Razer’s announced top option, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, has 12 cores and 24 threads, with an NPU rated up to 50 TOPS. Razer says this enables Copilot+ PC features including Cocreator, Live Captions and Windows Studio Effects. Actual configuration availability can differ by market.
RTX 50-series graphics
Razer announced the 2025 model with graphics options up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, specified with 24 GB of GDDR7 memory and up to 155 W graphics power. The company’s current comparison page also lists RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 configurations for 2025, so “RTX 50” does not identify one universal configuration. What display does the 2025 model use?
Razer’s 2025 announcement specifies a QHD+ OLED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.2 ms response time. These are the published display specifications; they should not be conflated with the brighter HDR figures Razer gives for the 2026 model.
How does the 2025 Blade 16 differ from the 2026 model?
Razer now distinguishes the Ryzen-based 2025 laptop from a 2026 Intel revision. The newer model’s headline specifications are not upgrades that can be assumed for a 2025 unit.

What to check before choosing a configuration
- Model year: Confirm that a listing is the 2025 Ryzen version or the 2026 Intel version; shared Blade 16 branding does not mean shared specifications.
- Exact GPU: Verify the GPU model and configured power. Razer’s “up to” RTX 5090 specification describes the top announced 2025 configuration, not every unit.
- Memory: Treat the installed memory as a purchase-time decision. Razer says it is onboard and cannot be upgraded on current models.
- Battery expectations: Use Razer’s hours as manufacturer test claims, not estimates of how long the laptop will last during demanding gameplay.
