The three official ways Rockstar currently lists for contacting support are email, live chat, and a phone callback request. All three begin at support.rockstargames.com, where you select the affected game or service, issue category, and problem type. Rockstar then decides which contact options are available for that issue, region, and support flow.
Start with the official request form rather than searching for an old phone number or an unofficial support address.
1. Contact Rockstar by email
Email is usually the best option for account issues, missing content, purchase problems, technical errors, and cases that require screenshots or other evidence. It also gives you a written record of the conversation.

- Select the affected game or service.
- Choose the closest category and specific problem type.
- Read the suggested help articles and complete any troubleshooting steps.
- Sign in if Rockstar asks you to do so.
- Describe the problem clearly and select email if it is offered as a contact preference.
Include the information that will help Rockstar identify the correct account and issue:

- Your Rockstar Games account nickname or username.
- Platform, such as PC, PlayStation, or Xbox.
- Storefront, if relevant, including Steam, Epic Games Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, PlayStation Store, or Xbox.
- The exact game and edition, such as GTA V, GTA V Enhanced, Red Dead Redemption 2, or GTA Online.
- Approximate date and time of the problem.
- The exact error message and the steps that reproduce it.
- Relevant screenshots, video, order numbers, or receipt details.
Remove passwords, two-factor authentication codes, recovery codes, full payment-card numbers, and other sensitive information before attaching anything. Keep the ticket number and reply in the same support thread instead of opening multiple duplicate requests.
Rockstar may show self-help articles or troubleshooting tools before allowing a support request. Email is a listed contact option, but Rockstar does not promise that it will appear for every issue.
2. Use Rockstar live chat
Live chat is useful when you need interactive clarification or your situation is difficult to explain through a form. However, chat is conditional: it may appear only after you select the right game, category, and problem type.
- Go to Rockstar Support.
- Select the relevant game or service.
- Choose the category and issue that most accurately match the problem.
- Complete the requested account and troubleshooting information.
- Select Chat if Rockstar displays it among the available contact methods.
Keep the conversation open until the agent provides a next step, ticket number, or resolution. Save the transcript or take screenshots if the issue involves account ownership, account recovery, purchases, or enforcement.
Never provide a password, authentication code, recovery code, full card number, or security-question answer in chat. Confirm that the conversation is taking place on the official support.rockstargames.com domain.

3. Request a Rockstar phone callback
Rockstar’s current support information refers to tools for requesting a phone call back from a technical-support agent. This is not the same as a universal public Rockstar customer-service number.
A callback can be useful for a complicated account-access, ownership, or technical issue that is hard to explain in writing. To look for the option:

- Select the affected game or service and the closest issue category.
- Complete the suggested troubleshooting and support form.
- Look for an option such as Request a phone call or a callback contact preference.
- Enter a reachable phone number only in the official support form.
Have your account identifiers, platform information, purchase or ownership evidence, and a concise explanation ready. Do not rely on phone numbers from old manuals, archived articles, search results, or third-party “support” services. Rockstar does not state that callbacks are available for every country or issue, and it does not provide a universal callback-time guarantee.
Which Rockstar support method should you choose?

If your preferred contact option does not appear
Do not select an unrelated issue category just to force a chat or callback option. Instead:
- Return to the support homepage.
- Select the exact game or service.
- Choose the closest accurate category and problem type.
- Read the suggested article and use any relevant troubleshooting tool.
- Continue to the request form and sign in if prompted.
- Try the form again later if the option is temporarily unavailable.
Rockstar says it is available to assist users 24/7, but that does not guarantee that every live channel operates continuously for every region or issue.

When the request form fails
- Refresh the page and sign in again.
- Try a current desktop browser or a private browsing window.
- Temporarily disable browser extensions that block scripts or forms.
- Clear cookies for the Rockstar Support site.
- Check required fields, contact preferences, and attachments.
- Remove oversized or unsupported attachments.
If the form still fails, save a screenshot of the error and retry through the official support site later. Avoid paid third-party services claiming to be Rockstar Support.
Special cases
Lost access to your Rockstar account email
Use the account-access or compromised-account category that best matches the situation. Provide proof of ownership only through the official support workflow. Do not use an unofficial phone number or pay someone claiming they can recover the account.
Suspected account compromise
Secure your email account first. If you still have access, change your Rockstar password and enable available account-security features. Then submit a request using the appropriate recovery or compromised-account path. Include account identifiers, linked platforms, receipts, and relevant dates only when requested.
Ban, suspension, or enforcement action
Use the official appeal or support route Rockstar presents for the issue and provide factual information. Support does not guarantee that an enforcement decision will be reversed, so avoid duplicate submissions or unsupported claims.
Steam, Epic, PlayStation, or Xbox problems
You may need both Rockstar Support and the platform’s support team. Rockstar can address its own account and game services, while Steam, Epic, PlayStation, or Xbox generally controls platform credentials, platform billing, refunds, and access policies.
