GameLoop is the best first emulator to try if PUBG MOBILE is the game you want to play. Its official PUBG MOBILE page identifies it as the game’s PC emulator and provides a PUBG-specific installation path. If it fails on your computer, try LDPlayer or BlueStacks; MuMu Player and MEmu Play are conditional alternatives, not proven performance winners.
There is an important limit: GameLoop’s published PUBG MOBILE requirements include 8 GB of RAM and a GTX 1050-class graphics card. An emulator may install on an older laptop without delivering stable play, particularly during fights. The recommendations below are based on PUBG-specific support and published requirements—not a controlled, head-to-head FPS test.

Requirements are not directly comparable: some are specific to PUBG MOBILE, while BlueStacks’ cited minimums are general emulator requirements. The version and requirements on vendor pages can change.

What counts as a low-end PC?
“Low-end” can mean anything from an old dual-core laptop with 4 GB of RAM and integrated graphics to a budget computer with a modern quad-core CPU, SSD and 8 GB of RAM. Those machines are not equally capable.

- Bare minimum: 4 GB RAM, an older dual-core processor, integrated graphics and possibly a hard drive. The emulator or game may launch, but steady, competitive play is unlikely.
- Entry-level target: 8 GB RAM, a modern four-thread or quad-core CPU, an SSD and recent integrated graphics or an entry-level GPU. Low settings and a modest frame-rate cap are more realistic.
- Closer to the published PUBG requirements: 8–16 GB RAM, an SSD, a modern quad-core CPU and roughly GTX 1050-class graphics. This is a more plausible starting point for GameLoop’s listed requirements.
Installing successfully is not the same as playing comfortably. Frame-time spikes, combat stutter, input delay and thermal throttling can matter more than a high FPS number in the lobby. This comparison does not claim measured FPS results for any emulator.
1. GameLoop: best first choice for PUBG MOBILE
GameLoop ranks first because its official PUBG MOBILE page presents it as the official PC emulator and gives PUBG-specific installation instructions and requirements. That makes it the most direct starting point when PUBG MOBILE—not general Android app support—is your priority. It also includes PUBG-oriented keyboard and mouse support.
At the time represented by the cited page, GameLoop listed PUBG MOBILE version 4.5.0, updated July 9, 2026. Its stated minimums—Windows 8.1/10 64-bit, an Intel Core i3-8300-class CPU, GTX 1050 graphics, 8 GB RAM and 1 GB of available storage—are not requirements for an ultra-low-end laptop. Check the current page because game versions and requirements can change.

Best for: Someone whose PC is reasonably close to the listed requirements and who wants the PUBG-specific route. Official positioning does not guarantee stable performance on every PC, support in every region, or immunity from account action.
If it stutters: Lower the emulator resolution to 1280×720, set PUBG graphics to Smooth, cap FPS at a level the laptop sustains, and disable recording and overlays. If the game has a black screen or corrupted graphics, try another renderer if GameLoop offers the option, update the graphics driver, restart the emulator and retest.
2. LDPlayer: the main alternative to test
LDPlayer is a reasonable next choice if GameLoop will not install the current build, crashes or stutters badly. Its PUBG MOBILE page describes the installation route and lists requirements that are substantial for an older laptop: Windows 10 or later, 64-bit; OpenGL 4.x; an 8th-generation Intel Core i3-8100-class quad-core CPU or better; virtualization enabled; GTX 1050 Ti 2 GB or better; 8 GB RAM; 10 GB on the installation disk and 2 GB on the system disk.

Install: Download LDPlayer from its official site, install and open it, then open the Play Store inside the emulator. Sign in to Google, search for PUBG MOBILE, install the game and launch it from the emulator home screen. The exact availability of a regional version may differ.

LDPlayer offers keyboard mapping and other gaming features. For fair play and account caution, stick to ordinary controls: macros, scripts, auto-clickers and tools that automate or alter gameplay may violate game rules or create account risk. LDPlayer’s virtualization guidance is available in its official support section.
3. BlueStacks 5: a broader Android gaming option
BlueStacks is worth considering if you play several Android games and want a general-purpose emulator with detailed PUBG instructions. Its PUBG MOBILE guide describes installing through BlueStacks 5’s home screen or Store, with an APK route documented if needed. Prefer the official store or official support instructions; avoid APKs from unverified mirrors.
BlueStacks lists general requirements of Windows 7 or newer, an Intel or AMD dual-core processor, at least 4 GB RAM, 5 GB of free storage, administrator access and updated graphics drivers. Those general minimums are not a PUBG-specific promise of smooth play. The guide’s recommended PUBG setup allocates four CPU cores and at least 4 GB RAM, enables High Performance mode and high frame rate, and recommends HD graphics and Extreme frame rate for up to 60 FPS. That allocation may be too heavy for a laptop with only 8 GB of total memory.
For a constrained 8 GB laptop, start lower: try 1280×720, two CPU cores on a four-logical-processor machine, 2–3 GB RAM allocation, Smooth or Balanced graphics and a 30 or 40 FPS cap. Increase only one setting at a time if play remains stable. If the laptop has 4 GB total RAM, BlueStacks’ general minimum does not mean there is enough headroom for comfortable PUBG MOBILE play.

4. MuMu Player: a compatibility fallback
MuMu Player’s PUBG MOBILE page confirms PC and Mac availability and provides system information. Its product site promotes gaming features and performance on lower-end devices, but those vendor descriptions are not neutral head-to-head benchmark results. The available PUBG-specific information is not detailed enough to rank MuMu above GameLoop, LDPlayer or BlueStacks for low-end Windows hardware.
Try MuMu if the first choices have rendering problems or will not run your regional game build. Download it from the official MuMu site, then compare it under the same resolution and in-game settings you used for another emulator. Do not assume Mac availability means the Windows and Mac experience or requirements are identical.
5. MEmu Play: a conditional troubleshooting pick
MEmu Play is included as a fallback, not because current evidence here proves it is lighter or faster for PUBG MOBILE than the other options. If the leading emulators fail on your particular laptop, try an official MEmu installer and check whether the current PUBG build installs, login works, keyboard controls behave correctly and performance remains stable in a repeatable gameplay session. Do not rely on unverified FPS rankings or modified APKs to make the comparison.
Set up a low-end laptop for steadier play
- Start with official downloads. Use the vendor links above, not third-party mirrors, repackaged installers or modified game clients.
- Update Windows and the graphics driver. A current driver can resolve renderer problems; restart after installing updates.
- Plug in the laptop and select Best performance. Windows power-mode names and locations vary by version. Use the higher-performance mode while plugged in, then watch temperatures.
- Enable CPU virtualization if required. In BIOS/UEFI, look for Intel Virtualization Technology, VT-x or Intel VT on Intel systems; on AMD systems, look for SVM Mode, AMD-V or Secure Virtual Machine. The setting may be under CPU, Advanced, Security or Configuration. Restart, enter firmware using the manufacturer’s key—often Delete, F2, F10 or Esc—enable it, save and reboot. There is no single menu path for every laptop.
- Use conservative emulator settings. On an 8 GB system, begin with 1280×720 resolution, 160–240 DPI if configurable, two CPU cores and 2–3 GB RAM. Start at 30 or 40 FPS, turn off anti-aliasing, multi-instance mode and recording, and keep root access off unless you specifically need it. Renderer choices vary; test DirectX and OpenGL one at a time if available, restarting after each change.
- Lower PUBG graphics first. Set Graphics to Smooth, choose the highest frame-rate option that stays stable, and turn off shadows, anti-aliasing and resolution enhancement where those options exist. Keep auto-adjust graphics off if consistency matters more than automatic visual changes.
- Free resources and manage heat. Close browsers, launchers, cloud-sync apps, overlays and recording software. Use a hard surface with clear vents. If stutter worsens over time, lower the FPS cap and check for heat-related throttling.
BlueStacks’ higher HD/Extreme recommendations are intended for systems with enough headroom; they are not the right starting settings for every low-end laptop. Likewise, no one renderer or FPS cap is best for every CPU, GPU and driver combination.

Which emulator should you choose?
- Pick GameLoop first if PUBG MOBILE is your main reason for installing an emulator and your PC is near its published requirements.
- Try LDPlayer next if GameLoop fails and your computer meets LDPlayer’s listed requirements, including virtualization.
- Choose BlueStacks if broad Android game compatibility matters and your computer has enough CPU and RAM headroom.
- Test MuMu or MEmu only when compatibility or rendering issues justify another try; available evidence does not establish either as the fastest choice.
If your system has 4 GB RAM, an old dual-core CPU and a hard drive, changing emulators may not make PUBG MOBILE consistently playable. An SSD or RAM upgrade can help if the laptop supports it, but check compatibility and cost before buying; an upgrade cannot compensate for every CPU or graphics limitation. If the laptop continues to overheat or produce severe combat stutter at low settings, it may simply be below a practical threshold for stable play.
