Five mobile games have been named in connection with ray tracing: Arena Breakout Mobile, CarX Street, Rainbow Six Mobile, Justice Mobile and War Thunder Edge. The evidence is uneven: developer technical documentation confirms ray-tracing effects in Arena Breakout, while War Thunder Edge has an older announcement describing planned support. The other three appear in a 2025 secondary-source list but lack corroboration from primary sources here. A title’s inclusion is not a guarantee that ray tracing is available on your phone or in its current game build.
Which mobile games have ray tracing?
These five titles were listed by Okezone on February 2, 2025. The table separates developer or technical documentation from claims that have not been independently confirmed by a primary source.

The five-title list is a useful set of candidates, not a current compatibility list. Okezone’s roundup is secondary coverage; a developer presentation or announcement is stronger evidence for what a game implements, but still may not prove that the feature is enabled for every player today.
Does Arena Breakout have ray tracing?
Tencent Games’ GDC session description says the Android version of Arena Breakout uses Vulkan Ray Query for reflections, ambient occlusion and soft shadows. It also describes optimization to maintain 60 FPS. These details confirm a documented implementation, not a universal promise of ray tracing on every Android device or a guarantee of 60 FPS with the effects enabled on any particular phone.

Check the current game version and its graphics settings on your device. If ray-tracing options are absent, the session description alone cannot tell you whether the cause is hardware, operating-system support, the game build or a setting unavailable in your region.
What phone do you need?
There is no single phone requirement established for all five games. Ray tracing depends on the device’s GPU and software, the game build, region and in-game options; the available sources do not provide a shared, current compatibility matrix.

- For War Thunder Edge, Gaijin’s 2022 announcement specifically named Snapdragon-powered mobile devices. Treat that as the condition in the announcement, not confirmation of current support or a complete list of compatible models.
- For Arena Breakout, Tencent’s technical session establishes Android implementation but does not name a complete set of supported phones.
- For CarX Street, Rainbow Six Mobile and Justice Mobile, the cited list does not establish device requirements.
Before choosing a device, check the game’s current official requirements and store listing, then look for the setting in the installed build. Ray-tracing capability in a phone’s hardware does not prove that a particular game supports or enables the effect on that model. Samsung’s discussion of ray tracing on the Galaxy S23 series is historical context for mobile-capable hardware, not evidence that the S23 runs these five games with ray tracing enabled.

Neural Dawn is a separate Android game demonstration announced by Arm and Sumo Digital for later in 2026; it is not one of the five titles above. Arm says it combines ray-traced effects, Unreal Engine MegaLights and Arm Neural Technology, and is intended to launch on Android devices powered by upcoming Arm Mali GPUs. That is a future-facing announcement, not evidence that the game is broadly available now.

Arm’s developer information describes Neural Super Sampling and Neural Frame Rate Upscaling as technologies that can reduce GPU workload by up to 50% and provide up to 2x frame rates, respectively. Those are Arm-stated capabilities, not independent measurements of a consumer phone or guaranteed results in every game. Arm’s announcement and FAQ also differ on the number of levels; the gameplay duration is described as about two hours in both, so the level count is best left unresolved.

How to judge a mobile ray-tracing claim
- Look for primary evidence. A developer technical presentation or current support page is more useful than a roundup repeating a feature claim.
- Separate implementation from availability. A game may use ray-tracing technology without offering it on every supported phone, region or build.
- Check which effects are named. Reflections, ambient occlusion, soft shadows, translucency and self-shadowing are distinct effects; a general “ray tracing” label does not tell you which ones a game uses.
- Do not infer performance. The sources do not provide a controlled comparison of image quality, frame rate or battery life across these five games.
