To find out whether Gran Turismo 7 is down, check the official GT7 Online Server Status first, then check PlayStation Network (PSN) status. If both report normal service, check the current maintenance notice and whether the problem affects one feature or several before troubleshooting your console connection.
1. Check Gran Turismo 7’s official server status
Open the official Gran Turismo 7 page and find “Online Server Status.” It is the most direct check for a GT7-specific service problem. At 22:33 UTC on October 7, 2026, the page’s indexed result displayed: “The server is operating normally.” That is a snapshot, not a promise that the servers remain available when you check, or that every region, account, and connection is working.

2. Check PlayStation Network separately
GT7’s status and PSN’s status are separate checks. Visit the PlayStation Network status page and inspect the service categories it lists, including Account management, Gaming and social, PlayStation Video, Store, and Direct. A PSN issue may affect access even when GT7’s own page does not show a title-specific incident. Read the live page rather than relying on an older status report.
3. Read the current maintenance or error notice
The official GT7 page links to maintenance and error information. Open the notice and compare its stated start and end times with your local time zone. A maintenance window can explain why online play is unavailable, but an old notice does not establish a regular maintenance day or duration. Use the current notice for the current interruption.

4. Check whether only one GT7 feature is affected
Note exactly what fails: signing in, a particular pavilion or mode, or a website feature. Gran Turismo’s notice dated August 17, 2026, described a sign-in issue affecting My Page and Showcase on the Gran Turismo website and GT7’s Sport Pavilion Event Archive. It did not say that all GT7 online functions were unavailable. The notice is an example of a partial disruption, not evidence of today’s service state. If GT7 and PSN both appear operational and no current maintenance notice explains the problem, continue through PlayStation’s connection-support route. The PSN status page directs users with console connection trouble to PlayStation Repairs. A normal status reading does not identify whether an individual console, account, or connection is at fault, and the reviewed official information does not establish that changing DNS, buying a router, or replacing a cable will fix this kind of issue.
