Fortnite’s Mandalorian (Pen & Ink) Outfit is a distinct announced cosmetic, not a confirmed set of six player-selectable designs. The six ideas below are visual concepts—not locker presets—and should not be read as promises that Fortnite lets you recolor, weather, or swap parts of the outfit. Check the live Locker and Item Shop for the options and availability currently offered.
What is confirmed about the Fortnite Mandalorian outfit?
StarWars.com announced that The Mandalorian (Pen & Ink) Outfit would arrive in Fortnite on May 19, 2026, alongside the BDX Droid Sidekick, with other favorites returning during May. That announcement does not establish whether the outfit is in the shop now, its current price, or whether it has selectable styles. The official Item Shop result available for this article was for Peacemaker, not the Mandalorian, so it cannot verify those details.
Fortnite also has Mandalorian-related features for creator-built Star Wars islands, but these are not ordinary Battle Royale Locker options. Epic’s UEFN documentation describes a Mandalorian Jetpack for aerial movement and a Disguise Kit with more than 50 appearance variants, including Mandalorian variants. Those island tools do not show that players can customize the retail outfit’s armor or colors.
Six visual concepts for a Mandalorian look
Use these as inspiration for evaluating the outfit, its announced comic-ink treatment, and any accessories or companion cosmetics actually available in your Locker. They are not official preset names or confirmed customization controls.

1. Classic beskar-inspired look
Keep the focus on the familiar armored bounty hunter silhouette: a restrained metallic impression, practical gear, and a helmet-forward profile. Treat this as a reference for the character’s established visual language, not a promise that the Fortnite outfit has a selectable beskar finish.
2. Pen-and-ink contrast
Lean into the announced outfit’s Pen & Ink identity by pairing it with accessories that read clearly against a graphic, comic-style presentation. Before choosing a back bling or other cosmetic, inspect it in the Locker preview; the outfit itself may not offer a separate ink or color toggle.

3. Minimal bounty hunter
Let the outfit carry the look. Avoid adding a crowded back accessory or harvesting tool if the available items compete with its helmet and armor silhouette. This is a styling choice using compatible cosmetics, not an outfit edit.
4. Heavy-kit silhouette
If your Locker includes compatible accessories, build a more equipment-heavy impression around the outfit. Check how each item sits on the character model in the preview, since an accessory that works with one skin may obscure another’s details.

5. Restrained accent color
Use a small accent from an available accessory, contrail, or other cosmetic rather than assuming the armor itself can be recolored. Choose only items the game actually lets you equip together, then preview the combination before saving or entering a match.
6. Coordinated companion look
The May 2026 announcement paired the outfit with the BDX Droid Sidekick. If both are available to you, preview them together for a character-and-companion theme. Sidekick availability and shop status can change, and the announcement does not establish that the two items must be purchased together.

How to make and check a Mandalorian look
- Check access first: Open Fortnite’s current Item Shop and Locker. Search for The Mandalorian (Pen & Ink) Outfit in the shop if you do not own it; the May 19, 2026 announcement is not proof it is still available.
- Equip what you own: In the Locker, select the outfit and choose only from the styles or options the live interface actually displays. If no style selector appears, do not assume you can change its palette, damage, armor parts, or ink treatment.
- Build around the outfit: Select compatible cosmetics such as a back bling, harvesting tool, or Sidekick from your owned items. Use the preview to check silhouette, clipping, and visual balance.
- Save the combination: If your current Locker interface offers a preset or loadout save option, use it to preserve the combination. The exact controls can vary by interface version, so follow the labels shown in your game rather than relying on an unverified button path.
Do not confuse island features with skin customization
Epic’s UEFN documentation describes the Mandalorian Jetpack and Disguise Kit as creator-island assets and gameplay features. They are not evidence that the standard Battle Royale Locker can add a jetpack to the outfit or cycle through the island disguise variants.
Creators also face separate limits. Epic’s Star Wars Brand Rules say creators may use approved Star Wars assets in the permitted ways and cannot create new Star Wars assets or recolor existing ones except where approved tools allow. The rules specify, for licensed Star Wars islands under the referenced creator agreement, 20% of total island engagement payout to Disney and 30% of total payout for in-island transactions. Those terms concern that creator program and should not be applied to player cosmetics or other creator agreements.

What about the LEGO Mandalorian style?
LEGO Fortnite Odyssey’s v29.40 update introduced LEGO styles including the Mandalorian. Its Rebel Adventure pass and 1,000 V-Bucks premium-track figure were part of the 2024 offer, not a current price or availability claim. A LEGO style is a separate presentation of a character, not evidence of six editable Battle Royale outfit designs.
