Stable and Preview are different builds, not simply old and new labels. On the publisher’s download page checked October 7, 2026, Stable was v0.20.16 and Preview was v21.0.0-wip.8194. The publisher described Stable as having all content to date but no longer being actively developed; Preview was the ongoing technical update with limited content. These build identifiers and feature descriptions are time-sensitive, so check the download page before installing.

7 tips for making progress without wasting in-game time
1. Listen closely and check your phone hints
Conversations often explain what a character wants or where a story can go next. The protagonist’s own comments and phone hints can also point toward an objective. If a quest seems stalled, check the phone, speak with the relevant characters again, and compare your progress with the route’s stated requirements rather than guessing at random. The official wiki’s getting-started guide and FAQ describe these in-game sources of direction.
2. Search each screen instead of rushing through it
Visit map locations and look for clickable objects, including items on additional screens. The official getting-started guide says interactable objects highlight when you move the mouse over them. On desktop, sweep the cursor across the scene; on a touch device, inspect the visible areas deliberately rather than assuming the desktop hover behavior applies.

3. Revisit places at different times and on different days
Characters and events may depend on whether it is morning, afternoon, or night, as well as the day of the week, earlier actions, or a story milestone. If a walkthrough tells you to wait, treat that as the earliest point to check—not a guarantee that the character will immediately be at the expected location. Try another time or day and consult the route’s requirements. The wiki’s getting-started guide explains that schedules and prerequisites affect progression.
4. Earn money before a route’s purchase requirement
Jobs provide a way to earn money for items sold in shops, and the official guide recommends using otherwise-free daytime periods to work. Keep some cash available instead of spending everything on optional purchases: objectives can require items, and money remains useful later in the game. The reserve suggestion is a practical way to avoid reaching a purchase gate without funds.

5. Train stats when a story asks for them
Some dialogue and objectives depend on character skills. When a route stops advancing, check your stats and inventory against its stated requirements before repeating the same event. The official getting-started guide outlines the role of skills, while route-specific requirements are listed in the walkthroughs.
6. Match your walkthrough to your installed build
The wiki maintains separate Stable and Preview walkthroughs because quests may change or expand in Preview. A route step from one build may not fit the other. The walkthrough index also warns that overlapping storylines can cause blockers in Stable; focusing on one route at a time is a practical way to reduce that risk, though it cannot guarantee that a blocker will not occur.

7. Protect your saves and check what you have completed
Make a separate save before switching builds or installing an update. The official FAQ says compatibility between successive versions is experimental and not guaranteed. The wiki’s technical help describes six quick-save slots and automatic saves, and recommends loading a save made on the town map to reduce event conflicts. That page was last edited in 2020, so follow newer publisher instructions if they differ.
To review unlocked scenes, use the Cookie Jar. The FAQ notes that optional events may remain even after a story is otherwise complete, so an apparently finished route does not necessarily mean every scene is unlocked.

Where to get help when you are stuck
Start with the game’s own clues: reread recent dialogue, check phone hints, revisit likely locations at another time, and verify your money, items, and stats. Then use the official wiki’s walkthrough index for the exact build you installed. The wiki also provides getting-started advice, job information, and a FAQ.
Installing on Android
The publisher lists an Android download and says iOS builds are not possible. The wiki’s technical-help page, last edited in 2020, says Android installation is manual from the official site rather than through Google Play and recommends 2GB of free space. Because that guidance is older, check the publisher’s current download and installation instructions before proceeding.
