What platforms can you play WWE 2K25 on?
- PlayStation: PS5 and PS4.
- Xbox: Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
- PC: Steam, digital-only; 2K’s order and edition FAQ says there is no physical Steam version.
- Nintendo: Switch 2, released later than the other versions.
Platform-specific features and limits
The Island is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2, but not PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Switch 2 includes offline modes for handheld play; online modes require an internet connection. Its version does not support cross-platform Community Creations or the image uploader. MyFACTION and other online features require internet access, and account or age conditions may apply. Check the current support FAQ and platform terms if those features matter to your purchase.
Cross-generation entitlements differ by console family. On PlayStation, 2K Support describes PS4-to-PS5 cross-progression and a shared VC wallet, but DLC does not carry across generations. Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S share a VC wallet, but do not have cross-progression. Verify the applicable edition and entitlements for the console generation you intend to use.

Which edition should you choose?
- Choose Standard if you want the base game and do not need the listed premium packs or passes.
- Compare Deadman and Bloodline by the specific character packs, passes, virtual currency, and platform-specific Island content you will use. Their launch prices are historical; compare the current local price against any separately available content.
- Consider Farewell Tour content separately if you specifically want its Cena-related characters and cosmetics. Do not confuse the standalone pack, its Standard-plus-pack bundle, and the separate PlayStation-listed Farewell Tour Edition.
At launch, 2K described the game as having more than 300 playable characters; that is the publisher’s figure, not an independent roster audit. The Switch 2 launch announcement also described 50 new Faction Wars stages. See 2K’s original announcement and its Switch 2 launch announcement for those publisher details.
