To turn on Vibrant Visuals, update Minecraft, return to the launch screen, then open Settings > Video > Graphics Mode and select Vibrant Visuals. If the option is missing or grayed out, your device may not meet requirements or an active add-on may conflict; try Favor Performance if the game slows down.
How to enable Vibrant Visuals

Update Minecraft to the latest version available for your device.

If you are in a world, save and exit to the launch screen. Minecraft Help says to change the graphics mode from the launch screen.

Open Settings, then choose the Video tab.

Find Graphics Mode and choose Vibrant Visuals.

If gameplay slows or video issues appear, choose Favor Performance. Choose Favor Visuals on a system that handles the mode well, or use Custom to adjust individual effects.

Menu options and availability can vary by device and game version. Some older instructions describe enabling a world-level experimental toggle, but it is not a universal requirement; follow the current instructions shown in your game.
Supported devices and requirements
Vibrant Visuals is a Bedrock graphics mode. Mojang’s Bedrock 1.21.80 release notes list Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC. The notes give these mobile and PC requirements:

These are platform-family and chip-level guidelines, not a guarantee for every device model. Requirements and supported-device lists may change with updates. Check current in-game availability if your device is not listed or the option does not appear.

Why is Vibrant Visuals missing or grayed out?
Minecraft Help identifies three common causes: you are still inside a world, your system does not meet the minimum requirements, or conflicting add-ons are active.

Save and exit the world, then check Graphics Mode from the launch screen.

Update Minecraft. If your device should support the mode, check for operating-system and graphics-driver updates.

Temporarily disable add-ons that might conflict, then check the setting again.
If the option remains unavailable, the device may not meet the requirements. The missing control does not necessarily mean you overlooked a menu.
Performance and compatibility
Vibrant Visuals changes Minecraft’s appearance; Mojang says it does not affect gameplay. The Minecraft announcement also says players can use Realms together whether or not they have the mode enabled.

If performance slows or video problems occur, try Favor Performance. You can also choose Fancy or Simple rendering if Vibrant Visuals is unavailable or unsuitable for your setup.
Split-screen is not supported for Vibrant Visuals. Mojang’s Bedrock release notes say the game switches to Fancy or Simple rendering when multiple players join locally. Add-on, world, and texture-pack compatibility can vary by version, so check current game guidance for a specific item rather than assuming every pack or world behaves the same way.

Do I have to enable an experimental world toggle?
Not universally. Older launch instructions included a world-level experimental toggle, but current support instructions direct players to Graphics Mode. Menus can vary by platform and version, so use the current instructions in your game.

Can I turn on Vibrant Visuals while I am in a world?
Minecraft Help says to open Settings from the launch screen to change graphics mode. Save and exit your active world before changing it.
Will Vibrant Visuals make Minecraft lag?
