Which teams qualified for the Champions 2026 playoffs?

The Americas had the largest contingent, advancing all four of its teams. Pacific qualified three teams, EMEA one, and China none. Dot Esports’ October 5 report noted that no Chinese team won a series in the group stage.

These are the opening quarterfinals, not the full route to the final. Champions uses a double-elimination playoff bracket, so teams have a lower-bracket path after a loss. VLR.gg lists October 18 as the grand final date. Its event page’s broad playoff phase dates do not align perfectly with every individual match listing, so check the live event schedule for changes before following a match.

How does the Champions 2026 format work?
Riot’s published format has 16 teams divided into four groups of four. Each group uses a GSL format, with matches played best-of-three; the top two in each group qualify for playoffs. The eight playoff teams enter a double-elimination bracket. Playoff matches are best-of-three except for the lower final and grand final, which are best-of-five.
