Pocket Gamer’s tier list places heroes in four groups, from S (highest) to C, and was updated October 5, 2026 for version 2.2.135. These are Pocket Gamer’s editorial rankings—not an official game ranking or a documented test—so use them as a starting point alongside each hero’s role and fit with your team.
How to read the Rumble Heroes tier list
Pocket Gamer groups heroes into S, A, B and C tiers. Its page does not explain a scoring method, so the positions should be treated as editorial guidance rather than precise measurements of power. The page also describes four rarities—Legendary, Epic, Rare and Uncommon—but says rarity alone does not determine a hero’s value: abilities that work well together can make a lower-rarity hero useful.
For practical decisions, consider the tier placement together with a hero’s ability or role and how that hero complements your team. The list does not compare heroes systematically across game modes, stages of player progression or specific team builds.

What the hero examples suggest about roles
Pocket Gamer’s descriptions point to several different ways a hero might contribute. Holy Mace Paul is described as dealing area damage while healing allies; Big-Sickle Jennifer as dealing damage and applying bleed, with the article noting bleed’s usefulness against bosses that require it. Shotgun Gupi is described as a ranged attacker who can restore health over time, while Double Gun Mary is presented as a ranged damage dealer for early-to-mid-game play. Ice Bobo is described as a crowd-control option that uses Frostbite. These are the source’s character descriptions, not independently verified gameplay tests.
Name variants and roster uncertainty
The list includes apparent duplicate or inconsistent names: God Hand Sita and Godhand Sita; Bomber Kid and Bomber Kidd; Pathfinder Erwen and Pathfinder Arwen; and Manager Caroline and Manager Carolyn. The page says it covers all playable heroes, but does not provide a unique-hero count or a roster audit. It is therefore safest to preserve the entries as listed rather than assume that each spelling is a separate hero or claim a verified complete roster.
