Developed by Fool’s Theory and published by 11 bit studios, The Thaumaturge follows Wiktor Szulski in early-20th-century Warsaw. Wiktor uses perception to find personal secrets in objects and uncover motives. Character abilities can influence people, making dialogue and observation part of the RPG systems rather than just connective story scenes.

Combat is turn-based and combines physical attacks with salutor abilities. The available official descriptions establish those mechanics, but they do not support a judgment about combat depth, repetition, or difficulty from direct play.
Is The Thaumaturge worth playing?
It is most likely to suit players drawn to narrative-led RPGs, investigation, consequential choices, and a supernatural historical setting. Players looking primarily for frequent action or a combat-focused RPG should weigh that emphasis: investigation and character interactions are core features, while the official materials do not say how often combat occurs.

Can your PC run The Thaumaturge?
