How many trophies and achievements are there?
The game supports platform achievements: the official STAR WARS: Galactic Racer FAQ confirms trophies on PlayStation and achievements on Xbox and Steam. PowerPyx lists 50 PS5 trophies—one Platinum, one Gold, 10 Silver, and 38 Bronze—while Destructoid reports 49 achievements on Xbox and Steam. The PlayStation total includes the Platinum awarded for earning the other trophies.
The game launched on October 6, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, according to StarWars.com. The route below follows the PS5 trophy list; the main completion goals are relevant to the other platforms as well.
What is the best order to unlock everything?
PowerPyx says that, after Champion difficulty is unlocked, the remaining roadmap steps can be completed in any order. Treat this as a flexible route rather than a mission-by-mission checklist: make progress on overlapping goals whenever you revisit a mode.

1. Finish the campaign once
Complete the campaign to unlock Champion difficulty. As you play, take sidebets and watch for Rival encounters. PowerPyx’s cleanup route calls for winning head-to-head races against all 11 Rivals; engaging with sidebets can lead to those Rival races.
2. Prepare, then win the required Champion race
Champion raises opponents’ skill and aggression and tightens the allowance for crashes. PowerPyx recommends considering a few additional runs first to unlock or improve Favors, parts, abilities, or Racer Styles. The listed requirement is to defeat Kestar Bool in the Galactic League Championship on Champion difficulty. The guides do not describe this as a requirement to replay every campaign act on Champion.

3. Combine the Galactic Gauntlet cleanup
Win the Galactic Gauntlet with every Favor, every Racer Style, and each vehicle type. PowerPyx’s route counts 20 Favors, 14 Racer Styles, and three vehicle types. Before each attempt, check which Favor and Racer Style are equipped so that successive wins cover different checklist entries.
For repeat Gauntlet runs, PowerPyx suggests Act 2 over Act 3: Act 2 is shorter, while Act 3 adds a planet and more story Podracing events. This is a guide recommendation, not a mandatory order.

4. Complete Tales of Podracing and Rival races
Finish all 12 Tales of Podracing and defeat all 11 Rivals in head-to-head races. Keep these goals on your running checklist while doing other campaign cleanup, rather than assuming every encounter or story event will be completed automatically.
5. Clear one-off trophies as you go
The trophy lists include campaign milestones and specific tasks involving vehicle customization, abilities, upgrades, sidebets, backer ratings, race checks, and driving feats such as overheating the Ramjet or passing a speed threshold. Check the platform’s trophy or achievement descriptions for each exact condition; these are not all guaranteed to unlock through ordinary progression.

6. Earn Gold on all 50 base Arcade events
Complete the Gold time requirement in each of the 50 base-game Arcade events. PowerPyx calls these time trials the hardest part of its Platinum route and the main reason for its difficulty rating. Deluxe adds three Arcade events, but PowerPyx says the DLC events are not required for the Platinum.
7. Claim the PS5 Platinum
Once every other PS5 trophy is earned, Galactic Champion—the Platinum—is awarded for obtaining them all. Xbox and Steam use achievements rather than a Platinum trophy.

How long does the Platinum take, and how difficult is it?
PowerPyx’s 2026 estimate is 70–100 hours for the PS5 Platinum, with the total depending heavily on skill and luck. The guide rates the route 8/10 difficulty and points to the 50 Arcade Gold time trials as its biggest hurdle. These are guide estimates, not guaranteed completion times or independent measurements.
PowerPyx reports 50 offline PS5 trophies, no online trophies, no missable trophies, and no known glitched trophies at the time of publication. Those are the guide’s assessments, not a guarantee that every player will encounter identical results.
Can you play offline, and does the edition matter?
The official game FAQ says the solo campaign, Arcade events, and Scenarios can be played offline. Patches, updates, and online features need a connection; PC also needs internet for first-launch authentication.
For the Platinum route, PowerPyx says Deluxe DLC is not required, although Deluxe adds three Arcade events. The official game website lists physical Standard and Deluxe editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and a physical Collector’s Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Collector’s Edition includes a landspeeder model, physical art book, patches, and banner. Edition availability can vary by region.

The official FAQ also says wheel support is not currently available and podracers are not customizable. Neither point changes the trophy route, but both are useful to know before choosing how to play.
