Start with Nintendo’s official retail-location page for Nintendo-operated stores, then use Nintendo Support’s retailer list or your country’s Nintendo site to find shops that sell Nintendo products. The available locations and retailers vary by country, and a listing does not confirm that a specific branch has the product you want—check hours, event notices, and stock before traveling.
Find a Nintendo-operated store
Nintendo’s U.S. retail-location page currently lists two physical stores:
- Nintendo NEW YORK: 10 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10020.
- Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO: 331 Powell St., San Francisco, CA 94102.
Nintendo says admission is free. Reservations are not typically required, but special events may require them; check the location page and its event notices before visiting. These stores do not take online or phone orders. For select products, Nintendo points shoppers to its online Nintendo Store.
Find retailers that sell Nintendo products
Nintendo Americas Support maintains a retailer directory covering Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch OLED. It names retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart, as well as Canadian retailers such as Amazon Canada, Best Buy Canada, Costco Canada, GameStop Canada, and Walmart Canada. Nintendo describes the page as a selection of retailers that carry its products; it is not confirmation that every store or branch has a particular item in stock.
#1 Best Overall
- The next evolution of Nintendo Switch
- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*
- GameChat** lets you voice chat, share your game screen, and connect via video chat as you play
For a location near you, use the directory as a starting point, then check the retailer’s own local store page or contact the branch about availability. The page can also help when searching for older or discontinued products, but listings and stock can change.
Use the Nintendo site for your country
The U.S. and Canadian Nintendo online stores ship only within their respective countries, so their locations and shopping information are not a worldwide directory. If you are elsewhere, use the local Nintendo site or support pages to find regional retailer information. For example, Nintendo’s Philippines retailer page lists an authorized physical store at SM Makati and links to online-store and M.M.SOFT retailer pages. Nintendo says availability varies by retailer and recommends contacting them; that Philippines listing should not be treated as a directory for other countries.

Check before you travel or buy
- Confirm the store details: Check the current location page or contact the shop for its address, opening information, product stock, and any event reservation requirements.
- Verify the seller and listing: A retailer directory does not verify a particular online listing. If shopping through a marketplace such as Amazon, check the country, seller, current availability, and product region before ordering.
- Consider regional compatibility and support: Nintendo recommends buying products in the country or region where they will be used. Its U.S. store FAQ notes that electrical and TV standards, languages, regulations, marketing requirements, compatibility, and service can differ by region. Nintendo’s guidance is: “Nintendo recommends only purchasing products within the country or region where the products will be used.”
- Do not rely on the app as a universal locator: Nintendo Store app Check In is location-based and available at select Nintendo locations. Upcoming check-in places appear under Check In > Upcoming. Nintendo says physical app purchases in the Americas are available only in the U.S. and Canada.
For U.S. and Canadian online-store shipping limits, see Nintendo Store Order Support. For regional product guidance, see the Nintendo retail-location FAQ; for app details, see Nintendo Store App Overview and FAQ.
