The Dragon Head Pickaxe is an in-game item, and an unofficial guide reports that obtaining it requires Raven’s quests, three heart offerings, and 2,750,000 in-game currency. Its current availability is uncertain: another guide says it was limited to the Christmas 2025 event, and the pages disagree about cave access. Check the live game’s quest and event status before farming for it.
Reported route to the Dragon Head Pickaxe
The steps below summarize one fan guide’s route; they are not confirmed live-game instructions. The reported sequence is:
- Find Raven in World 3. The guide places Raven at a campsite before the first cave.
- Complete Raven’s spider tasks. The guide says to obtain a Prismatic Heart from the Spider Boss.
- Reach Raven’s Cave. The guide locates it behind the Forge building and describes a hidden route into the Corruption Heart area. It says the entrance is an invisible wall behind bushes near a crystal-ball marker.
- Deliver three hearts to the cult NPCs. The reported offerings are a Prismatic Heart, Yeti Heart, and Golem Heart, delivered respectively to Auron, Mjelatkhan, and Morveth. The guide associates these drops with the Spider Boss, Yetis in Peak Cave, and the Ice Golem Boss at the Peak.
- Buy the pickaxe at the altar. The guide lists the price as 2,750,000 in-game currency.
These locations, quest steps, and item requirements come from an unofficial fan guide, not a verified current-game source. The pages do not establish a reliable drop rate, so there is no supported percentage to plan around. The Forge Wiki’s guide page describes this route.
Why access and availability are uncertain
A second unofficial page says Raven Quest 2 unlocks the Red Cave and describes the pickaxe as available only during the Christmas 2025 event. That differs from the first guide’s description of Raven’s Cave and its hidden entrance. The available sources do not resolve whether these are different access routes, changed instructions, or conflicting claims.
