There is no single Amazon-to-game-platform switch: the right steps depend on whether you mean Amazon and Twitch, Prime Gaming and EA, Prime Gaming and Epic, or a third-party app authorized on PlayStation. Identify the two accounts involved before changing anything. Unlinking can remove benefits or affect account-bound rewards and progress.
First, identify the account connection
Amazon may be connected to Twitch for Prime benefits, to a publisher account through Prime Gaming, or indirectly through an authorized app. These are separate account systems with separate settings. Use the matching route below rather than looking for one universal Amazon linking page.

How to link or unlink Amazon and Twitch
For a Twitch-specific Prime benefit, manage the connection in Twitch rather than in a game publisher’s account settings.
Unlink the accounts
- Open Twitch’s Prime Member Perks page or go to Twitch Connections settings.
- Find the Amazon connection and select Disconnect.
- Review the on-screen notice before confirming. Twitch says disconnecting removes the Twitch-specific Prime benefits covered in its guidance, including the channel subscription, exclusive emotes, and Prime chat badge.
Amazon’s help instructions also direct users to Twitch’s Prime Member Perks page and the Disconnect control. This action concerns Amazon–Twitch benefits; it does not unlink an Amazon Prime Gaming connection inside EA or Epic.

How to link or unlink Amazon Prime Gaming and EA
Link Prime Gaming to an EA Account
- Sign in to your EA Account.
- Open Connected Accounts.
- Select Amazon Prime Gaming, then choose Continue to sign in to Amazon.
- Complete the prompts on screen. Return to Connected Accounts to check which accounts are linked.
Unlink an account from EA
- In your EA Account, open Connected Accounts.
- Find the account you want to disconnect and select Unlink.
- Read the disclaimer before continuing, and complete identity verification if prompted.
- Follow the account-specific confirmation steps shown by EA.
EA warns that if a platform is later linked to a different EA Account, entitlements such as in-game rewards, points, and items stay with the EA Account first linked. Game progress also will not transfer to a different EA Account. EA describes limits on changing linked accounts, but the applicable restriction can vary or change; rely on the warning displayed for your account rather than assuming a universal relinking window.
Prime Gaming and Epic Games: use the official support route
Epic describes linking an Amazon Prime account to an Epic Games account as a way to claim Prime Gaming content. For Prime Gaming problems or questions about unlinking, Epic directs users to Amazon Games Prime Gaming support. Follow the instructions given for your account there; the official support information does not establish one reliable, general click-by-click unlink procedure.

Unlink an authorized app from PlayStation
If the connection you mean is a third-party app authorized on your PlayStation account, use PlayStation’s app-authorization controls. This is not a universal Amazon unlink method.
- Sign in to PlayStation Account Management.
- Select Authorized Apps.
- Choose the app you want to remove, then select Unlink > Yes.
PlayStation also documents ways to manage authorized apps from a console and the PlayStation App; consult its authorized apps instructions for those routes.

Before you disconnect
- Check which pair of accounts is linked. Amazon–Twitch, Prime Gaming–EA, Prime Gaming–Epic, and PlayStation app authorization are different connections.
- Read the service’s warning before confirming. Twitch benefits can end, while EA rewards or progress may remain tied to the original EA Account.
- Do not assume unlinking transfers items or progress. EA explicitly says progress will not transfer to a different EA Account, and entitlements can remain with the first linked account.
- Use account-specific support when the screen differs. Settings and restrictions can change, and services may show different prompts depending on the account.
