The recorded route uses the boulders to make short crossings for moving the mirror, then reaches the eastern exit by reflection. These steps are based on a demo recording rather than independent play-testing in the native game.
Recognize the Mirror Isles 3 layout
The puzzle is identified as “Five islands, three boulders (Mirror Isles 3)” and uses the community map identifier mirror_3. From west to east, look for a tall strip holding the mirror, an empty central island, a northern island with two boulders, a southern island with one boulder beside the player, and the eastern exit. Start from a reset room that matches the guide’s diagram; exact tile positions and mirror angles are not given in the text walkthrough.
The solution sequence below follows the demo recording described by the Kingy field guide. The recording was published June 17, 2026, and its build number is not stated.
Step-by-step solution
- Move the southern boulder to the central island. Push the boulder right until it lines up with the narrow northern point of the southern island. Push it north across the water gap, then walk onto the central island.
- Use the mirror reflection to reach the western strip. Stand on the central island’s west side. When the reflection places your figure at the southern end of the western strip, jump across.
- Move the mirror north and reach the northern island. Push the mirror toward the north end of the western strip. Step back down until the reflected figure reaches the northern island, then jump there.
- Bring both northern boulders toward the central island. Push the nearer boulder south into the gap above the central island. Use that crossing to bring the other northern boulder south as well.
- Create a crossing from the central island to the west. Return to the central island and move the remaining boulder left into the gap leading to the western strip. This crossing is needed to transport the mirror.
- Move the mirror onto the central island. Return to the western strip, bring the mirror down, and push it right over the new stone crossing. Move it to the central island’s eastern edge.
- Reach the eastern exit by reflection. Walk south from the mirror and use the first stone crossing to extend the distance. When the reflected figure reaches the eastern exit, activate the jump.
Why the eastern gap is crossed by reflection
Do not use a boulder to bridge the wide eastern gap. The guide’s route depends on keeping the short crossings available for moving the mirror; using a boulder at the east would leave too few crossings for that task. Instead, position yourself south of the mirror and use the reflection to bring the figure to the exit before jumping.

What to do if the layout or timing differs
- Confirm that the room matches the five-island layout and that you are starting from a reset state.
- Use the source recording to check the precise tile alignment and mirror angles; the written description does not specify them.
- If the sequence does not match your game, account for the fact that the recording’s exact build is not stated and the steps have not been independently tested in the native game.
