A Superdrop is a sales event that groups several drops together; it is not one fixed-size product. Each release has its own card list, finish options, price and availability, so check the specific announcement before buying.
What is the difference between a Secret Lair drop and a Superdrop?
A drop is an individual product, often built around a theme or collaboration. A Superdrop is the event that brings multiple drops together for sale. The number of products in a Superdrop varies: Wizards announced three drops in the 2026 Moonlight Jellies Superdrop, five in A Marvelous Mathoms, and eight in each of A Perfectly Normal and Corn Maze. These examples show why “Superdrop” does not mean a set number of drops. See Wizards’ Moonlight Jellies announcement, A Marvelous Mathoms announcement, and Corn Maze announcement.
What comes in a Secret Lair drop?
Contents depend on the individual release. A product may contain a different number of cards, use a particular theme or collaboration, and offer one or more finishes. For example, Wizards’ Marvel announcement described five themed drops and listed six items, including a token, for its Black Panther drop. Its Stardew Valley announcement listed three themed drops and eight items in Welcome to Stardew Valley. Neither is a template for every release. Read the card list and product details in the announcement or listing for the drop you are considering.
How much do Secret Lair drops cost?
There is no universal Secret Lair price. Both the product and its finish affect the announced price, and prices can change between releases. As dated 2026 examples, Wizards listed Welcome to Stardew Valley at $39.99 USD non-foil or $49.99 USD foil, and Life in Pelican Town at $29.99 USD non-foil or $39.99 USD foil. Those are prices for those specific products, not current standard prices for Secret Lair drops. Check the current listing for the amount and available versions.

Where can you buy a Secret Lair drop?
Wizards directs buyers to MagicSecretLair.com for announced sales. Some named releases have also had other official retail routes: Wizards announced Amazon.com and WPN game-store availability for the non-foil Secret Lair x Fallout: Beyond Vault 33, and later WPN store availability for select Stardew Valley non-foil editions. Those announcements apply to the specified products; they do not mean every drop is sold through Amazon or game stores, or that a listing is still in stock.
Availability is release-specific. A 2024 Marvel announcement said that its sale had no hard end date and that products could be removed from the storefront over time, while newer announcements set specific sale launch dates. Check the current announcement or listing rather than assuming every drop follows the same sales window.

How do Secret Lair sales and checkout work?
In the cited 2026 event announcements, the pre-queue opened one hour before the listed 9 a.m. Pacific sale start. Customers already in the queue were assigned a random place when the sale launched; afterward, customers proceeded in the order they entered checkout. Wizards stated: “Adding products to your cart does not reserve them. Products are only secured once checkout is completed.” These are instructions for those announcements, not a guarantee that every future sale will use the same timing or queue process. Check the current event notice for its sale start and checkout rules.

- Well look who it is! Come in, come in. Don’t mind the robe. “Uncle Deadpool” is just crashing at Secret Lair for a few days. I’m actually doing a little tour of lairs, hideouts, sanctums, and strongholds and leaving ratings online. It’s been a blast.
- But I wasn’t expecting guests. Just, uh, kick back, relax, and . . . don’t sit on my red suit! It’s drying out. But check this out—Secret Lair made me my own Deadpool cards! Isn’t that nice? So pretty. This one even says, “trading card,” so you don’t forget. Anyway, make yourself comfortable and if you need anything, I’ll be in the kitchen making chimichangas.
