Check the Moogle workshop’s displayed recipe before farming: higher Moogle levels can reduce recipe requirements, and the sources available do not verify a complete enemy-by-enemy route or drop rate for every ingredient.
Frozen Pride recipe and required materials
Frozen Pride is Goofy’s shield made from the Road to Discovery recipe. Its base ingredient list is:
| Ingredient | Base quantity |
|---|---|
| Tranquility Shard | 7 |
| Tranquility Stone | 5 |
| Tranquility Gem | 3 |
| Tranquility Crystal | 1 |
| Lost Illusion | 1 |
The recipe is listed by Kingdom Hearts Wiki, Gamer Guides, and 30SomethingGaming. These are base amounts, not necessarily what your current recipe display will require.
Check Moogle level before farming
Open the synthesis workshop and inspect Road to Discovery and its current material costs before setting out. A GameFAQs KHII Final Mix+ synthesis FAQ reports that Serenity materials become usable at Moogle level 3 and that recipe material reductions unlock at higher levels, with rank S reduction at level 9. It does not establish a single reduction amount that applies to every recipe.

- Check your Moogle level. If you have advanced through synthesis since first seeing the recipe, the required totals may have changed.
- Read the current Road to Discovery recipe. Use the quantities shown in the workshop rather than automatically collecting the base totals above.
- Farm only the remaining ingredients. Recheck the recipe after leveling the Moogle, before spending time gathering materials you may no longer need.
What is known about farming routes
The available references establish the recipe, but do not corroborate a best enemy, world, spawn reset, guaranteed encounter, or drop chance for every Tranquility material and Lost Illusion. A recent Gaming Ally Goofy weapons overview is not enough to substantiate ingredient-specific routes from the material available here. For that reason, there is no defensible complete route or drop-rate table to give for these ingredients.
- Do not treat guides for Kingdom Hearts I Final Mix as evidence for this recipe. Material names and farming advice from that game do not establish KHII Final Mix drop locations.
- Use a route only when a guide identifies the specific KHII Final Mix ingredient and encounter it supports; otherwise, consult a directly verifiable KHII Final Mix bestiary or detailed guide rather than assuming a drop source.
- Keep the workshop’s live recipe as your checklist. It will tell you exactly which named materials and quantities remain, even when a route reference does not establish where to obtain them.
Upgrading Frozen Pride to Frozen Pride+
Frozen Pride+ is an upgrade of Frozen Pride that uses a Serenity Crystal modifier, as listed in the Frozen Pride reference and Gamer Guides synthesis table. Check the upgrade recipe in the workshop separately; do not mistake the Serenity Crystal modifier for one of the base Frozen Pride ingredients.
