To get every Goofy shield in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, collect his starting Knight’s Shield, buy the shop shields, claim the Throne Room chest and Titan Cup rewards, farm the listed Heartless and Nobody drops, synthesize four shields, and earn the Mushroom XIII rewards. This checklist covers the Final Mix shield entries and their + versions—not shields from the first Kingdom Hearts or 358/2 Days.

Goofy shield acquisition checklist

Use this list to track the base shields and the Final Mix + entries. The source list separates these entries by game and upgrade section, so this checklist does not treat shields from other games as part of the KH2 Final Mix collection.

Acquisition details are compiled from the Kingdom Hearts Wiki’s Goofy’s Shields list and KHGuides’ synthesis guide.

Which shields come from shops, chests, and cups?

Shop purchases

Visit the named shop for each purchase: Wallace for Adamant Shield, Morlock for Chain Gear, Mosh for Falling Star, Kumop for Dreamcloud, and Stiltzkin’s Moogle Shops for Knight Defender. Shop availability or prices are not stated in the cited shield list.

Fixed rewards

  • Open the Throne Room chest for Ogre Shield.
  • Complete the Titan Cup for Genji Shield.

Which shields require enemy drops?

Akashic Record drops from Bookmasters, its + version drops from Runemasters, and Nobody Guard drops from Gambler Nobodies. These are enemy-drop routes rather than fixed chest or shop rewards.

The Kingdom Hearts Wiki also reports rates for some drops, but the paired mushroom percentages are not explained sufficiently to establish their conditions or meaning. For that reason, the checklist identifies the sources without presenting those figures as confirmed probabilities.

How do you get the Mushroom XIII shields?

The base Joyous Mushroom, Majestic Mushroom, and Limited Mushroom, along with Joyous Mushroom + and Majestic Mushroom +, are listed as drops from Mushroom XIII No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12. The listed entries do not specify a particular member for each shield, so the available guidance is to pursue the named members rather than assume a one-to-one assignment.

How do you synthesize Frozen Pride and Save the King?

Use the Synthesize option at any Moogle Shop. Frozen Pride, Frozen Pride +, Save the King, and Save the King + require a recipe and materials. The cited guides establish the synthesis route but do not provide complete recipe requirements here, so check the synthesis menu for the specific recipe and materials available in your game.
