Best PC Settings for Smooth Performance in Sifu

Steam’s requirements help you check PC compatibility, while MSI’s Low/FHD, fullscreen, V-Sync-off profile is specifically for named Claw handhelds—not a universal desktop benchmark.

For most desktop PCs, there is no source-backed universal “best” preset for Sifu: the available PC requirements do not promise a frame rate, and there is no published desktop benchmark here to establish which options help most. Start by checking your hardware against Steam’s requirements, then tune settings for your own resolution and smoothness goal. If you play on one of MSI’s listed Claw handhelds, MSI recommends Low graphics, FHD, fullscreen, V-Sync off, and an uncapped frame rate.

Check whether your PC meets Sifu’s requirements

Steam lists minimum and recommended PC specifications. These are compatibility tiers, not guarantees of a particular FPS, and Steam does not associate either tier with a stated resolution or frame-rate target. Compare your CPU, graphics card, memory, operating system, DirectX support, and available storage with the table before adjusting graphics options.

Requirement Minimum (Steam) Recommended (Steam)
Operating system Windows 8.1 Windows 10
Processor AMD FX-4350 or Intel Core i5-3470, or equivalent AMD FX-9590 or Intel Core i7-6700K, or equivalent
Memory 8 GB RAM 10 GB RAM
Graphics Radeon R7 250 or GeForce GT 640, or equivalent GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 390X
DirectX Version 11 Version 12
Storage 22 GB 22 GB

Steam’s current listing is Sifu on Steam. Meeting the recommended tier should not be read as an FPS promise: the listing provides no corresponding performance target.

MSI’s recommended settings for supported Claw handhelds

MSI publishes a Sifu profile titled “Recommend Settings (Over 50 FPS)” for the Claw A1M, Claw 7 AI+ A2VM, Claw 8 AI+ A2VM, Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition A2VM, Claw A8 BZ2EM, and Claw 8 EX AI+. The profile is a manufacturer recommendation for those named handhelds, not a desktop-PC preset or a universal measured result.

#1 Best Overall
Setting MSI recommendation for the listed Claw models
Graphics Low
Resolution FHD
Upsampling Not supported
Display mode Fullscreen
V-Sync Off
Frame cap Off / uncapped
Frame generation Not supported

MSI labels the profile “Over 50 FPS,” but its settings table does not disclose test conditions or a methodology. Treat that label as part of MSI’s handheld recommendation, not as a result guaranteed on every listed model or on desktop hardware. See MSI’s Sifu settings page for its model list and profile.

How to tune settings on a desktop PC

Use the resolution you actually play at and make changes based on your own performance goal. If you want steadier play, prioritize settings changes that improve the experience on your particular PC; if image quality matters more, keep higher-quality options where performance remains acceptable. The available sources do not include setting-by-setting desktop tests, so they cannot establish a proven order for lowering options or a reliable universal frame cap.

Rank #2
  • Use Steam’s listed tiers to check compatibility, not to predict your FPS.
  • Do not assume MSI’s Low/FHD profile is optimal for your desktop graphics card; it is scoped to named Claw handhelds.
  • Evaluate the game at your chosen output resolution and adjust to your own hardware and preference rather than treating an uncapped frame rate or a specific preset as universal advice.

What the update history does—and does not—say about performance

Sloclap’s Patch 1.24 announcement, dated September 7, 2023, called that release the final content update and said it added 75 Challenges, 6 Arenas, 2 Outfits, and 27 Cheats & Modifiers. Those are content additions, not PC performance findings. Sloclap’s official site also lists Patch 1.26, dated October 19, 2023, as a hotfix. These dated notes alone do not establish that no later technical changes occurred.

Read the Patch 1.24 announcement and Sloclap’s official Sifu site for the publisher’s update information.
