For a different take on archaeological pulp, try Indiana Jones and the Great Circle; for traversal and exploration with a new combat style, choose STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor. If what you want most is character-driven storytelling from Naughty Dog, The Last of Us Part I is a strong next game, but it is much darker than Chloe Frazer’s adventure.
What to look for after The Lost Legacy
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy follows Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross in India’s Western Ghats as they search for the Golden Tusk of Ganesh. Its appeal is a particular mix: cinematic combat, traversal through varied environments, exploration, complex puzzles, set pieces and a character-led treasure hunt. PlayStation’s official game page highlights those elements, while its Uncharted franchise overview describes the series through historical mysteries, global locations, complex characters and blockbuster action.

So the closest follow-up depends on which part you want more of. The comparisons below are preference-based: none reproduces Chloe and Nadine’s exact combination of tone, characters and mechanics.
Closest match for treasure hunting and climbing: Tomb Raider
The Tomb Raider trilogy is the clearest place to look for archaeological discovery, traversal and danger in a grounded adventure setting. A recent recommendation roundup calls Rise of the Tomb Raider its closest overall replacement, points to Tomb Raider (2013) for cinematic action-adventure, and singles out Shadow of the Tomb Raider for tombs, jungle danger and exploration-focused tension. That order is the roundup’s editorial judgment, not an official equivalence or a measured similarity ranking.

#1 Best Overall
- From award-winning developer Naughty Dog comes a brand new Uncharted game, starring Chloe Frazer.
- Dynamic game play; cinematic combat; exploration
- Complex puzzles; jaw-dropping environments
- Choose Rise of the Tomb Raider if you want the broadest overlap in adventure, climbing and action.
- Choose Tomb Raider (2013) if you want a direct entry point into the trilogy’s cinematic action-adventure style.
- Choose Shadow of the Tomb Raider if tombs, jungle atmosphere and exploration are your priority.
For another archaeological pulp adventure: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the pick for an archaeology-led treasure hunt with a different iconic hero. It shares the pulp-adventure appeal, but it is not simply another Chloe-and-Nadine shooter-and-puzzle adventure: expect its own feel and mechanics. The recommendation roundup positions it as the pulp option, rather than as the closest mechanical match.
For traversal and exploration with different combat: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Choose STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor if you liked moving through varied environments and uncovering secrets more than the specific treasure-hunter setting. EA’s official game page describes exploring stories, secrets and treasures with traversal skills, equipment and rideable creatures, as well as overcoming obstacles and solving mysteries with Force abilities. The trade-off is combat identity: this is a lightsaber-and-Force adventure, not a pistol-focused treasure hunt with Chloe and Nadine’s banter.
Rank #2
- Critically-acclaimed developer Naughty Dog's standalone Uncharted adventure starring Chloe Frazer.
- Venture deep into India's Western Ghats as Chloe and Nadine recover an ancient artifact and fight their way through fierce opposition to prevent the region from falling into chaos.
- UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy will come with access to UNCHARTED 4: A Thief's End Multiplayer and Survival modes. Online multiplayer on PS4 requires a PlayStation Plus membership, sold separately.
- Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) Content Description: Blood, language, suggestive themes, use of alcohol and tobacco, violence
For Naughty Dog character storytelling, with a much darker tone: The Last of Us Part I
The Last of Us Part I makes sense if your main reason for wanting another game is Naughty Dog’s character-focused storytelling. PlayStation’s official page lists it for PS5 and PC and describes emotional storytelling and memorable characters. Its emotional stakes and survival tension are considerably heavier than The Lost Legacy’s adventure mood. Choose it for story and characters, not because you want the same kind of light treasure hunt.
