In The Sims 4, enter motherlode for 50,000 Simoleons, use money [number] to set your household’s funds to a specific amount, or apply the skill command stats.set_skill_level [skill code] [level]. First open the cheat console with the shortcut for your platform. On PlayStation and Xbox, cheats that require testingcheats true disable achievements or trophies on that console save, according to EA.
How to open the cheat console
Open the console while playing, then type a cheat and confirm it. EA documents these inputs:

Money cheats: add or set household funds
Type one of these commands in the console. The two small-money cheats are equivalent; motherlode awards a larger fixed amount.

Sets household funds to the specified amount; it is not an instruction to add that amount to the current balance. |
For example, enter money 50000 to set household funds to 50,000 Simoleons. EA lists these commands and their effects in its official cheats FAQ.
Make homes free
Enter freerealestate on at the world or neighborhood screen to make homes free. EA lists freerealestate off to turn the cheat off. The location matters: use this command before selecting a home, from the world or neighborhood screen.

Max a skill with a command
The general format is stats.set_skill_level [skill code] [level]. Replace the bracketed portions with the identifier for the skill and the level you want. EA’s guides provide these base-game examples:

To set either of these skills to its documented maximum, use level 10 in place of 7. For example, stats.set_skill_level major_programming 10 sets Programming to level 10. EA identifies Programming as a ten-level base-game skill in its Programming guide, and Handiness as a ten-level base-game skill in its Handiness guide.

These identifiers are examples, not a complete list of skill codes. Other skills may have different identifiers or pack and age requirements, so check EA’s guide for the specific skill before entering a command.

EA says Build mode cheats remain fair game. The warning is specifically about console play; consult EA’s cheats FAQ for its current guidance before enabling cheats on a save where achievements matter.
