Twisted Metal Season 2 brings more recognizable franchise names into the Peacock series, but it is an adaptation rather than a scene-for-scene translation of the games. Its credited roster includes John Doe, Quiet, Sweet Tooth, Calypso, Dollface and several other drivers; the show also gives characters its own relationships and season-specific story arcs.

Which characters are in Twisted Metal Season 2?

Peacock’s official cast list confirms these Season 2 character and performer pairings. Its synopsis places John Doe and Quiet in Calypso’s deadly tournament and describes Sweet Tooth as a returning murderous clown.

Character Season 2 performer What the show establishes
John Doe Anthony Mackie Enters Calypso’s tournament and reunites with his long-lost sister, Dollface.
Quiet Stephanie Beatriz Competes alongside John. GameSpot reports that her Season 2 focus shifts toward helping others and that she drives Roadkill.
Sweet Tooth Joe Seanoa (physical performance); Will Arnett (voice) Returns as the murderous clown. GameSpot reports that tournament rules frustrate him by restricting his ability to kill freely.
Calypso Anthony Carrigan Hosts the tournament, whose prize is a single wish.
Dollface Tiana Okoye A vigilante and John Doe’s long-lost sister in the television series.
Axel Michael James Shaw Included in Peacock’s official cast list; the sources cited here do not establish a fuller character comparison with the games.
Mayhem Saylor Bell Curda Included in Peacock’s official cast list.
Vermin Lisa Gilroy Included in Peacock’s official cast list.
Mr. Grimm Richard de Klerk Included in Peacock’s official cast list.
Raven Patty Guggenheim Included in Peacock’s official cast list.

Seanoa and Arnett share Sweet Tooth’s portrayal in different roles: Seanoa physically performs the character, while Arnett provides the voice.

How does Season 2 differ from the games?

The Peacock and Sony series is adapted from Sony’s Twisted Metal video game franchise. GameSpot describes the tournament as a central feature familiar to players. That shared premise does not make every television relationship or character arc game canon: the show builds its own plot around familiar names and concepts.

Dollface is John Doe’s sister in the show

Peacock’s Season 2 synopsis identifies Dollface as John’s long-lost sister and a vigilante. That is a fact about the television continuity. The available sources do not establish that she has the same sibling relationship to John Doe in the games, so it should not be presented as a verified game detail.

John and Quiet have show-specific Season 2 arcs

GameSpot reports that John has earned citizenship in New San Francisco and is living within its structured environment, while missing his former open-road life. It also reports that Quiet’s priorities have shifted from revenge toward helping others, and that she spends more time driving Roadkill. These are descriptions of the show’s season, not claims about game biographies.

Calypso’s rules create a conflict for Sweet Tooth

In the series, Calypso hosts a wish-granting demolition derby. GameSpot reports that the tournament’s rules prevent Sweet Tooth from simply killing opponents as he did in Season 1, which frustrates him. This is a season-specific television conflict.

What is the Season 2 tournament?

Peacock’s synopsis says John and Quiet risk their lives in Calypso’s tournament for a single wish. Executive producer, showrunner, and writer Michael John Smith described “16 other drivers” as having wishes of their own; that number refers to the fictional competition, not a real-world statistic. Peacock announced that Season 2 premiered with three episodes on July 31, 2025, followed by weekly episodes through August 28, 2025. That release schedule is historical; check current regional services for availability.

How much of the game roster carries over?

The official cast list confirms the Season 2 names and performers above, and the series’ adaptation relationship connects the show to the game franchise. But a name in the cast list alone does not prove a one-to-one match in biography, relationships, or characterization. The clearest comparison is therefore between the franchise’s shared character names and premise, and the television series’ own specific plot details—not an assumption that every screen version reproduces a game character exactly.
