ARC Raiders’ Shrouded Sky update went live on February 24, 2026. It added the Hurricane map condition, a high-security area on Dam Battlegrounds, two ARC enemies, a free Surgeon Raider Deck and facial-hair customization. It is separate from the February 10 Update 1.15.0, which brought the Shared Watch event and returned Cold Snap to outdoor-map rotation.
What was in the ARC Raiders February 2026 update?
Shrouded Sky was the major content update released February 24. Embark’s announcement listed the Hurricane, Firefly and Comet, the Weather Monitoring System seasonal project, the free Surgeon Raider Deck, a Dam Battlegrounds map change, an Expedition window and facial-hair customization. Embark’s Shrouded Sky announcement describes the update’s launch lineup.
The phrase “February update” can also refer to the earlier February 10 Update 1.15.0. That patch introduced Shared Watch, an event running through February 24, and brought Cold Snap back to outdoor-map rotation. Shared Watch awarded merits for destroying, assisting and damaging ARC—not for PvP encounters. Embark’s Update 1.15.0 notes cover that earlier patch.
What does the Hurricane map condition do?
The Hurricane changes movement, visibility and combat decisions. Tailwinds can make movement feel faster, while running into gales inhibits speed and drains stamina quickly. Wind can also alter the trajectories of throwables such as grenades; Embark additionally notes effects on smoke, gas and jumping. These are reasons to adjust positioning and timing rather than assume familiar movement and throws will behave as usual.

Visibility and shield tradeoffs
Windblown dirt and debris strike shields, producing glitches and sparks. Being in the open during the storm degrades a shield and makes its wearer more visible to other Raiders. Low clouds make the surface harder to read and can give ARC an opportunity to surprise players. At the same time, reduced visibility can make Raiders without shields harder for other players to spot. Whether to carry a shield is therefore a tradeoff between its protection and the visibility it can bring in these conditions.
Storm-exposed caches
Embark says hurricane winds may uncover valuable First Wave Raider Caches. Treat that as a possible loot opportunity, not a guaranteed spawn: the developer’s explainer does not provide spawn odds or cache locations. See Embark’s Hurricane guide for its description of the condition’s effects.
What changed on Dam Battlegrounds?
Shrouded Sky uncovered the Controlled Access Zone, which Embark describes as a high-security area with high-value loot. The developer identifies the Rocketeer chandelier as the landmark that marks it. The announcement does not provide an entrance route, a list of rooms or guards, or a specific loot table, so it does not establish a detailed route or what items to expect inside. How do Firefly and Comet attack?

The distinction is in their attack patterns: Firefly brings aerial flame pressure, while Comet’s danger escalates when it detects and closes in on a Raider. Embark’s announcement does not state their health, damage, spawn rates, weaknesses or weapon counters.

The Surgeon Raider Deck is free and became available with Shrouded Sky. Its rewards are earned for Cred, which Embark says players gain topside by completing Feats. The Surgeon cosmetic unlocks progressively as the deck is completed; the Full Beard is one of its unlockable facial-hair options.
Stubble was immediately available to all players with the update. Embark also announced the Stubble Beard and Thick Moustache for the in-game store from February 24. In a later clarification to the update announcement, Embark said only the Volare Set would release that day, with the Devotee Set coming later; the announcement does not say that both bundles launched on February 24. These are digital cosmetics, not physical merchandise. The official announcement and its update give the release details.
