1348 Ex Voto is a third-person action-adventure about a young knight searching for her companion in a 14th-century-inspired Italy. Its sword-combat systems and atmospheric setting may appeal to players who enjoy focused, story-led adventures, but two review caveats matter: GamesRadar describes limited free roaming, and TechRadar criticizes the PC version’s performance. Those are reviewers’ assessments, not results from independent testing here.
What is 1348 Ex Voto about?
Developed by Sedleo and published by Dear Villagers, 1348 Ex Voto follows Aeta, a young knight-errant trying to find and save Bianca, her closest companion. The adventure unfolds in an Italy inspired by the 14th century, amid political strife, banditry, mercenaries, religious zealotry, and pestilence. Steam lists the game’s release date as March 12, 2026. Steam’s listing describes the premise and combat.
How does combat work?
Aeta can fight in one-handed and two-handed stances. Skill books unlock additional combos, while weapon-part customization lets players adjust her equipment. That gives the swordplay more structure than a single basic attack set, though the available review evidence does not establish how deep or varied the system feels over the full campaign.
Is 1348 Ex Voto worth playing?
It looks most promising for players who want a compact, linear action-adventure with a medieval setting and stance-based sword combat. The exploration caveat is important: GamesRadar calls the experience linear, noting that its detailed landscapes invite exploration but that free roaming is limited. If broad optional exploration is a priority, that reported structure may be a drawback.

TechRadar estimates a campaign of roughly seven to nine hours across nine chapters. That is the outlet’s review estimate, not an official runtime. Steam’s review snapshot in 2026 showed 700 all-time reviews with 53% positive and 12 recent reviews with 25% positive; these are time-sensitive platform figures, not critic scores or a representative survey, and they can change.
How does 1348 Ex Voto run on PC?
TechRadar’s PC review criticizes performance. The available evidence does not provide a comparable hardware benchmark, frame-time data, or a basis to say how consistently the game meets its targets on particular configurations. Treat the official Steam specifications as listed targets, not proof of real-world performance.
