For a practical routine, collect rewards with deadlines first, then spend spare playtime on content your account has not completed. The list below separates repeating opportunities from finite content and rewards that can expire.
15 ways to earn Primogems
1. Complete daily commissions
Make commissions part of your regular login routine. TimeSaver.gg’s October 2026 guide estimates 60 Primogems per day: four commissions worth 10 each, plus a 20-Primogem completion bonus. That is a third-party estimate, not a figure in HoYoverse’s official overview. The precise amount you receive depends on the available in-game tasks and reward conditions.

2. Claim limited-time event rewards
Open the current event menu and complete event objectives while they are available. Events are temporary, and rewards vary; check the in-game notices or HoYoLAB rather than relying on an old reward list.
3. Progress through Archon Quests
Advance the main story if you have unfinished chapters. HoYoverse includes Archon Quests among its Primogem sources. The rewards are tied to progression, so this is finite content rather than an endlessly repeatable farm.
4. Complete Story Quests
Check the quest menu for available character Story Quests and work through their objectives. HoYoverse lists them as an earning category; the exact reward depends on the quest.

5. Take on World Quests
Explore regions and speak with characters to find World Quests you have not completed. Their rewards vary, but unfinished quests can turn story and exploration time into Primogems.
6. Search for chests
Look through areas you have not thoroughly explored. HoYoverse specifically names chests as an exploration source. Chest rewards are finite: opening the same chest does not create a repeatable Primogem loop.
7. Unlock waypoints as you explore
Activate undiscovered waypoints when you encounter them. HoYoverse includes unlocking waypoints in its official exploration list. This is most efficient when combined with a trip for quests or chests rather than treated as a separate grind.

8. Unlock domains
Open domains you find during exploration. HoYoverse includes unlocking domains among exploration-related sources; ordinary domain runs should not be confused with the Primogems awarded for unlocking one.
9. Complete achievement challenges
Review the achievement menu and target objectives that are close to completion or fit what you are already doing. Achievements are an official source, but they are finite account goals, not a repeatable payout for doing the same task indefinitely.

11. Clear as much of the current Spiral Abyss cycle as you can
Try the current Abyss cycle if your account has the required progression and a team capable of earning rewards. HoYoverse says the Abyss refreshes on the 16th of each month. Its help article warns that unclaimed rewards do not carry over, so use the in-game timer and claim any rewards before the refresh. Check HoYoverse’s reset guidance.
12. Complete available Imaginarium Theater stages
If your roster and account progression meet the mode’s requirements, complete as much of the current Theater season as you can. HoYoverse says Imaginarium Theater refreshes on the first of each month, and unclaimed rewards do not carry over after refresh. Check the in-game timer before the season ends.
13. Claim eligible HoYoLAB check-in rewards
Use HoYoLAB’s check-in feature if it is available to you and claim its rewards on the schedule shown there. TimeSaver.gg includes this in its recurring-income estimate, but HoYoverse’s earning-method overview does not give a combined monthly value for it.

14. Revisit newly released areas and quests
When new game content becomes available, look for unexplored areas, new quests, chests, waypoints, and domains. These are applications of HoYoverse’s official exploration and quest categories, not a separate guaranteed reward source. What you can earn depends on the content released and what your account has already completed.
15. Check event listings and in-game notices before rewards expire
Make a quick check of official event listings and in-game notices when you log in. This helps you spot short-lived opportunities without relying on outdated code or event roundups. HoYoverse points players to HoYoLAB for current and upcoming event information.

TimeSaver.gg also estimates about 20 Primogems per minute for Theater and 18 for Abyss. Those are the guide’s own duration-based estimates, not HoYoverse statistics or a universal measure of efficiency. Your roster, skill, and time to clear content can change how long the rewards take to earn.

- Short daily session: Do commissions and collect any eligible check-in reward; check notices for an event or code with a deadline.
- New or returning account: Work through unfinished quests and explore areas where chests, waypoints, and domains remain undiscovered. These rewards are finite but do not require an endgame roster.
- Established account: Check the monthly Theater and Abyss timers, then claim the highest reward tiers you can reasonably complete.
- When time is limited: Prioritize rewards that will expire—especially event rewards, codes, and unclaimed monthly-mode rewards—before starting longer exploration or quest sessions.
What does not count as a repeatable Primogem farm?
Do not assume that any repeatable activity pays Primogems every time. TimeSaver.gg’s guide says weekly bosses, ordinary domain runs, the artifact strongbox, and the free Battle Pass do not provide repeatable Primogem income. HoYoverse’s official list supports a distinction between earning activities and paid currency: Genesis Crystals are a separate purchase, not a free farming method.
