What the ratings show
The list has three players rated 91, four rated 90, eight rated 89 and ten rated 88. It is a snapshot of the reported FC 25 ratings, not an objective ranking of real-world football ability. A single overall number compresses many in-game attributes; for team selection, position and the way you want to play matter alongside overall.

Why this is a men’s-only list
EA’s September 9, 2024 ratings announcement presented a combined overall Top 25 featuring men’s and women’s players. Aitana Bonmatí and Kylian Mbappé were both shown at 91, alongside Rodri and Haaland. That combined ranking has a different scope from the men’s-only list above, so its ordering should not be treated as the same table. EA also says men’s and women’s teams play independently.
EA described FC 25 ratings as drawing on authentic real-match data and said they inform the Rush 5v5 experience and 11v11 strategy through FC IQ. Its launch-era figures were more than 19,000 players, 700 clubs and 30 playable leagues; those are FC 25 figures announced in 2024, not current franchise totals. See EA’s ratings announcement.
