For a high-round starting point in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies, try the VST or M34 Novaline: a Season 6 community ranking updated September 24, 2026 places them first and second. That is a community snapshot, not an official or universally tested verdict. The same ranking names the Shadow SK, Mammoth, and SG-12 as leading alternatives. Your weapon’s rarity, Pack-a-Punch level, and Ammo Mod also shape a loadout, so choose for your preferred weapon class and how you play—not just the ranking.
Which Zombies guns are ranked highest?
The community-maintained ranking at [c006] lists these five weapons at the top of its Season 6 Zombies picks, in this order. Its stated comparison factors include damage output, ammo reserves, and Pack-a-Punch viability.

How to build a Zombies loadout
At launch, Treyarch’s official overview described the Zombies loadout system as a ranged weapon and a melee weapon, with weapon progression through Pack-a-Punch, rarity increases, and Ammo Mods. - Choose a gun you can use comfortably. A top-ranked weapon is a poor fit if its class or handling does not suit your playstyle.
- Account for ammunition and reloads. The community ranking explicitly considers ammo reserves; the amount you carry and how often you need to reload matter during sustained fights.
- Plan to upgrade. Compare how a weapon fits your intended Pack-a-Punch level, rarity progression, and Ammo Mod rather than judging it only before upgrades.
Published VST and M34 Novaline attachment builds
A community build database publishes weapon-specific attachment recommendations for the VST and M34 Novaline. Consult its current build pages if you want a ready-made configuration. These are database recommendations, not independently tested results; attachment choices and build codes can change after patches. Check the page and confirm the parts are available in your game before investing in a setup.
Season 05 Reloaded weapons and GobbleGum
In its August 13, 2026 Season 05 Reloaded announcement, Call of Duty Staff said the TR2 marksman rifle and Olympia shotgun would enter the Mystery Box as Ultra-Rarity legacy weapons. The announcement also says both support Pack-a-Punch progression and Ammo Mods. They are additional options from that update, not replacements for the five guns in the later Season 6 community ranking.

The update also introduced Fully Packed, an Ultra GobbleGum that upgrades your current weapon directly to Pack-a-Punch Level III. It can change how quickly you reach that upgrade, but it does not by itself determine which weapon suits your loadout.
