What a useful seed recommendation should include
A seed string by itself is not enough to reproduce a recommendation. A useful entry should state:
- The exact seed text.
- The game version used to generate and verify it.
- The complete new-game setup used, including any relevant region, map type, or generation settings available in that build.
- The goal the map serves, such as a large city or a preferred island layout.
- Screenshots or a map view that show the claimed features.
Confirm which setup fields are available in your installed version rather than assuming that a guide’s labels or options still apply.

Why version details matter
Ubisoft’s Patch 2.1 notes, dated September 17, 2026, report a fix for an issue that prevented manual changes to the World Seed field. That is a specific fix, not a complete account of world generation, but it makes the installed build relevant when following seed instructions. Check the current patch notes and verify that the seed can be entered and reproduced in your version.
Ubisoft’s Year 1 plans describe post-launch content that expands the game world and adds features and challenges. That is a reason to date seed recommendations and recheck them after updates; it does not establish that every DLC changes seed generation.

A community post reports an offline seed-finder project and says its results were validated against savegames. That validation is the project’s claim; it is not independently established here.
