Assassin’s Creed Shadows launched in March 2025. Its unlock time depended on region and, on PC, sometimes on storefront: console releases were generally scheduled for midnight local time, while Ubisoft Connect and Steam could unlock at different hours. The times below are the reported launch schedule, not a current or upcoming countdown.
How the March 2025 schedule worked
GameSpot reported Ubisoft’s launch schedule with separate entries for consoles, Ubisoft Connect PC, and Steam PC. Do not treat it as one worldwide unlock: PC storefronts did not match in every region, and some PC unlocks fell on the calendar day before the console release. The examples below preserve the published local dates and time zones.

Why the platform label matters
For Los Angeles, Mexico, and the eastern North American cities shown, the listed PC and console times align or are close together. Elsewhere, storefront differences are substantial: Steam was six hours later than Ubisoft Connect in London and Paris/Warsaw, four hours later in Tokyo, and likewise four hours later in Sydney. São Paulo’s PC time was one hour after the listed console unlock. A date without the storefront and time zone can therefore be misleading.

The reported schedule describes the planned launch unlocks; it does not establish that every account, download, or regional store actually became playable at precisely that moment.

Ubisoft’s current game page lists Assassin’s Creed Shadows for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Apple silicon Macs, and Windows PC through Ubisoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Ubisoft lists a Collector’s Edition separately from the standard physical editions. Its announced physical contents are a Naoe and Yasuke statue, steelbook, 76-page art book, life-sized Naoe katana tsuba, world map, Creed wall scroll, and two sumi-e lithographs.
