Call of Duty’s official Black Ops 6 guide lists 39 Multiplayer maps through Season 05, divided into Core and Strike, and six Zombies maps. The Season 06 announcement adds three Multiplayer maps—Gravity, Rig, and Mothball—bringing the published Multiplayer inventory covered here to 42 named maps. This is a content list, not confirmation that every map is selectable in the live playlist rotation.

The official guide groups Multiplayer maps as Core or Strike. Its displayed seasonal filters run through Season 05; the three Season 06 additions are listed separately below.

The Season 06 announcement also names Boo-Town, a Halloween-themed Nuketown variant. It is a variant rather than a separate base map. The official guide’s 39 displayed Multiplayer entries comprise 21 Core and 18 Strike names; adding the three Season 06 maps makes 42 named entries, excluding Boo-Town as a variant. Black Ops 6 Zombies maps
The official Black Ops 6 guide lists six Zombies maps:

Core and Strike are the official Multiplayer map categories; size and player-count format are additional details only where the official announcements provide them. For example, the Season 05 announcement describes Runway and W.M.D. as medium-sized Core 6v6 maps, and Exchange as a small-sized Strike map for 6v6/2v2. The Season 06 announcement provides the formats and sizes for Gravity and Rig, but identifies Mothball only as a Strike map. The available official descriptions do not establish a size or mode for every entry, so missing details should not be inferred.

A published map catalog also does not tell you which maps are in a particular playlist or rotation. The guide and cited seasonal announcements establish the inventory and additions, but do not confirm that every listed map is selectable in the live game now. For historical context, Call of Duty’s August 2024 launch announcement called the original set 16 Multiplayer maps and said: “All the launch maps are small to medium-sized maps with traditional three-lane routes.” That description applies to the launch maps, not the later seasonal additions.
