The Blox Fruits Red King Event update was scheduled for August 30, 2025, at 8:00 AM Pacific Time, according to Beebom’s pre-release report. Is the Red King Event countdown still live?
No. The countdown refers to a past release, so it should not be read as a live timer. References updated September 24, 2026 report that the event is over, the Red Gacha is unavailable, and Oni Tokens are no longer available. Earning event currency or using the gacha would require the game to bring those features back in a later change.
What was included in Update 27.1?
The update reference describes an Oni-themed update with a new realm, enemies, event systems, items, and gameplay adjustments. Its recorded features include:

The sources available for this release-time report do not provide a primary developer announcement confirming the scheduled 8:00 AM PT hour. The game’s Roblox listing identifies Blox Fruits and its publisher, Gamer Robot Inc, but it does not establish that launch-time claim. A creator video published on August 30, 2025, is contemporaneous coverage, not evidence of an official developer statement.
