When did the Blox Fruits Control Update come out?
Update 29.0, known as the Control Update, is recorded as released on December 23, 2025. Because that date has passed, a countdown to the update’s launch would be misleading.
The update history does not provide an official release hour or timezone, so an exact launch time cannot be confirmed from the available record.
What was included in Update 29.0?
The update history describes Update 29.0 as a major gameplay and systems update. Alongside the Control fruit rework, it lists Dungeon Mode, trinkets, mobile improvements, and a rework of the Hot and Cold island in Sea 2.

|---|---|
| Control Area | Domain Control |
| Levitate | Slice N’ Dice |
| Echo Knife | Gamma Blade |
| Gamma Rush | Total Concentration |
| Teleport | Transmutation |

Why are countdown videos still online?
Creator coverage can remain available after an update launches. For example, a video titled “BLOX FRUITS CONTROL REWORK UPDATE 29 OFFICIAL COUNTDOWN!” is dated December 23, 2025. Its title and date are historical creator coverage; they do not establish a current timer or an official launch hour.
The official Blox Fruits news archive lists Blox Bulletin #018 dated December 1, 2025, as well as later 2026 bulletins. The archive listing does not announce a new Control Update release date. A secondary bulletin archive says issue #018 teased the Control rework. Blox Bulletin archive
