The Xbox launch announcement names the Deluxe cosmetics and additional items. Its content list includes Traditional Dark Blue and Legendary Black Falcon Ryu skins; the Blade of the Archfiend Ryu weapon skin; Divine Chimera and Raven Master Yakumo skins; and the Divine Chimera Yakumo weapon set. It also identifies Life Elixirs, Incense of Rebirth and Kongou Iron Brew among the additional items, and names The Two Masters as future gameplay content in the upgrade listing.
What does the Deluxe Edition cost?
Prices are storefront snapshots, not universal or lasting prices. The US PlayStation Store listing checked October 7, 2026 showed Standard at $69.99 and Deluxe at $44.99, discounted from $89.99. The displayed Deluxe offer was due to end October 8, 2026 at 06:59 UTC. Check your local store for its current price and offer terms. The Xbox US Store also lists Standard, Deluxe and a separate Deluxe Upgrade; its displayed prices can vary by region, account, platform and time.
What was the Ninja Gaiden 4 preorder bonus?
The verified offer is specific to Japan: an Xbox Wire Japan notice dated July 4, 2025 said Japanese PS5 packaged-game preorders received the Yakumo skin 「黒龍の末裔」, translated in the notice as “Descendant of the Black Dragon.” The notice also listed a Japanese physical Deluxe Edition. Can you still get the preorder bonus?
The documented preorder window is historical, and current retailer inventory or code inclusion has not been established across regions. A listing for a physical copy is not proof that the preorder skin is included. Before ordering, ask the seller whether the exact platform and copy still include a valid code, and whether that code can be redeemed in your region.
What changed for the Japanese physical Xbox Deluxe Edition?
The Japanese notice was updated on August 7, 2025: the Xbox Deluxe packaged product changed from a download code to a game disc. The notice says it is therefore compatible only with Xbox Series X models equipped with an optical drive. It listed a limited sale period through February 27, 2026, subject to stock; that period has ended. Those details apply to the Japanese packaged edition and should not be assumed for other territories or listings.

Which platforms can you play NINJA GAIDEN 4 on?
The October 20, 2025 launch announcement lists Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, Xbox Cloud, Steam and PlayStation 5. It also said the game was available on day one through PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and identified it as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. Those are launch-era availability details; check the local storefront and current Game Pass catalog before buying or subscribing.
