Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game launched on July 23, 2026. The release date is listed by Nintendo, Steam, and PM Studios; Paramount Press Express also reported its availability across platforms on launch day.
Where can you play it?
PM Studios lists Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Nintendo marks the Switch version as compatible with Nintendo Switch 2, with behavior consistent with Nintendo Switch. Check your platform’s regional store for current availability, edition details, and language support.
What kind of fighting game is it?
It is a 2D, one-on-one fighter set in the Avatar franchise, with hand-drawn animation. The launch roster has 12 playable characters, and the game includes Story, Arcade, Training, and offline and online Versus modes. Gameplay Group International also described eight unique stages at launch in its PlayStation Blog feature.
