Xbox confirmed cloud availability on February 18. Official Xbox listings continued to include the game later, so the claim that Avowed is unsupported on Xbox Cloud Gaming is outdated as a statement of current availability.
Why early access and cloud access had different dates
Obsidian announced that Avowed would launch on February 18, 2025, with Premium Edition early access beginning February 13. The early-access window was advertised as up to five days. Obsidian’s November 14, 2024 announcement named cloud among the game’s launch platforms.
On February 4, 2025, Xbox listed Avowed for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on February 18. The same post said eligible Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members could purchase the Premium Upgrade Addon for up to five days of early access. It did not list cloud access as beginning on February 13. Xbox’s Game Pass announcement therefore distinguished the paid early-access benefit from the scheduled cloud catalog date.
When Avowed became available in the cloud
Xbox’s February 18 launch-day announcement explicitly confirmed Avowed for cloud play. “Avowed Is Available Now” listed cloud alongside the other available platforms. Later, Xbox’s Avowed listing continued to describe streaming the game with Game Pass via cloud gaming. A February 2026 Game Pass post also listed it for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, at that time with Game Pass Premium. That later catalog announcement reflects the listing at publication, while Game Pass catalogs and plan names can change.

What to check if Avowed is missing from your cloud library
The official announcements establish the public schedule and platform listing, but they do not explain why a particular player might not see the cloud option. They do not establish whether an individual issue was caused by a temporary outage, regional availability, account eligibility, or an interface problem.
